Almost forgotton superheroes of the 70's and 80's

Over in the Thor:Raganor thread posters were discussing if GotG2 was disappointing or not when @neoELITE said

This is like when Top Gear have three £200k+ super cars and they start comparing them and James May moans about the interior being a bit awful.

I grew up with such delights as Condor Man.

And this reminded me of TV superheroes almost long forgotten from the 70's and 80's.

Let's start with Condor Man. He's....not that great is he....

However it did remind me of this from my childhood, a show that will probably never be replayed now due to the name of the heroine.

(Secrets of Isis)

A version of that character (originally called Adrianna Tomas, recently rebooted during DC's New 52 event) who bears the Isis amulet is currently on DC's Legends of Tomorrow..

Though she's now known as Zari Adrianna Tomaz..

Holmes and Yo-Yo. This really is a stretch but I think a robot cop should qualify as a superhero:

Oh wow, Condorman was worse than I remember.

Does this count as a superhero? It was back in the era of Knight Rider, Streethawk, Blue Thunder and Airwolf and far worse than any of them.

The worst crime committed by the so called Islamic State is preventing DC Time Warner from fully exploiting their lucrative intellectual properties.

Also SUPERGRAN

You need to add the titles...

...on second thought...that song is going to be in my head all day now.

Even the good superheros were crap in the 70s.

I went to see that at the pictures! Even as an 8 year old I could tell it was rubbish.

What was that one where an astronaught took a blast of sunlight which resulted in him having powers if he took his shades off asnd stared into the sun?

If he did it too long he’d OD and his head would bubble and swell. Will Google.

Holy shit at Condor Man

All the way through that "trailer" (having not heard of the film) I kept thinking "that looks like Frank Spencer from Some Mother's Do Have Em" only to go to IMDb and discover if bloody well is him!

Whenever I encounter Mr Magorium's Wonder Emporium and The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus, I think of this.

All I can remember from watching this as a kid was the amazingly fake paw.

Panther... eagle... snake

All morphed from Simon McCorkindale, who went on to star in Casualty.

Hey, Condorman is a fun movie.

Ably assisted by Barbara Carrera, so the film also has that going for it.
