I think Arsenal are going to struggle without Wenger but they have a squad who will beat most of the other squads in the league but just won't get into that top four. If the Liverpool players who played well last season have another impressive season, they'll push Man City this year, however, it could quite easily go the other way; I was impressed with Salah last season but can he be as consistent as Harry Kane and will the new keeper solve the apparent keeper crisis? Liverpool could easily finish out of the top four but I've gone for 2nd. Of the three going up, I can only see Wolves staying up as they have the financial clout to retain their best players and also to buy in more (especially in January if things are looking a bit hairy). Cardiff are in massive debt and I just don't think Warnock will keep them up. Likewise, Fulham have some great players but they won't stay at Fulham forever so I can't see them being able to retain and build on their squad. Sorry Southampton fans but you've been getting progressively worse year on year and I think the slide will result in you being relegated this season and Mark Hughes just seems like the unluckiest manager of all time - every time I see him on TV he looks like he is in pain. I've put Burnley as 14th as they did have a poor 2nd half of the season compared to their 1st last season and they have Europa League games to fit in. That middle section from 7th to 15th is going to be tight - I think 10 points will separate those clubs.

I think we're in for more of the same next season - Man City should walk it again.

*Manchester United will start poorly and find themselves way down the table before sacking Mourinho. They'll turn around their form but too late to reach any of the top 5 or 6. Liverpool and Manchester City will battle it out all season with Chelsea nipping at their heels. Cardiff City will have terrible season, but Wolverhampton Wanderers and Fulham will start well before a sees them flirt with the bottom of the table, before ultimately staying up. Bournmouth will finally stop being able to survive, Eddie Howe will see himself sacked in April in a last ditch effort to save the season. West Ham United are the surprise team, with Pellegrini having a huge effect on them and seeing the Hammers into the UEFA Cup spots.

First Manager to get leave: Jose Mourinho (November)

Most improved team: well does Wolves count or do they have to be an existing Prem side? It's gonna be West Ham just for getting rid of Moyes.

First Manager to be sacked: Mourinho unless Warnock racially abuses someone

The team I had most trouble placing was United. With Mourinho having a nervous breakdown (no doubt to be followed by him fleeing the Travel Tavern and driving to Dundee in his bare feet), and Pogba possibly being gone before kick off on Friday, I think they'll struggle. However, just as with last season, the squad on paper is still very strong.

Weird things I predict will happen: two Southampton players fighting each other on the pitch, a PL referee getting nicked for tax fraud, a player getting injured by a drone during a match, a weekend where every team scores
