I've decided to risk my wildcard after getting stuck with no FTs and a couple of injuries.

Pretty much settled on a team now but torn between Sane and De Bruyne for my City attacking slot. Sane is in form, but will be under threat from Mendy's imminent return. De Bruyne looked sharp coming on against Wolves and is City's most important player on his day, but it's difficult to know how gently he'll be eased back into the regular starting XI.

This thread got quiet!

How's everyone coping with the Kane/Son/TAA-pocalypse then? Wildcards and hits going off left and right based on social media.

I had Kane and TAA, but fortunately also had 2 FTs. I've shipped Kane for Aubameyang; I think Aguero would be a better option if he could be guaranteed to start, but the Pep Roulette seems worse than ever lately. I think I'm going to turn TAA into Lindelöf, and might join in the hit party to swap Redmond for Sane, as I've got sufficient cash-in-hand, and otherwise have no City cover for their next two plum fixtures.

Currently in the top 500 overall, but I don't think that'll last!

I took Salah out on my Wildcard before his Bournemouth hat trick.

I haven't had much to say since then.

Also watching your rise has been awesome. I hope you manage to finish top 500. Amazing achievement.

I have gone against one of my fundamental rules and got rid of Hazard who I was intending to have all season and Ashley Barnes (who I wasn't) converting them into Pogba and Rashford a few gameweeks behind the curve maybe but they're in form and still affordable.

It sounds like Chelsea maybe aren't getting on with Sarri quite as well as they might so hopefully this wasn't super rash after all the pseudo blanks I've got with Hazard over the last few weeks against supposedly weaker opposition. I imagine he'll score a hat trick in the next GW now.

I think Hazard's head is in Madrid, and I don't think he's been happy with Sarri's attempts to turn him into a False 9. He'll underperform at least until the transfer window closes, I reckon. The arrival of Higuian might spark him back into life, though.

Mourinho deserves some kind of medal for driving down the value of Man United assets prior to his departure - even with all the price rises, they're still stupendous value. I got Rashford for £6.9 and Pogba for £8.0. Real mid-season tonic.

I need some City cover, that Hudds game hurt. Thought I'd get away with it at half-time, then normal service resumed. That said, if I'd taken the hit I had planned to get Lindelof and Sane in, I'd only have been 3pts up, as Kolasinac came through with an unexpected clean sheet.

I think one of Richarlison and Anderson needs to make way for Sane or KDB; both are plummeting in price at present. Richarlison has Hudds next week, though. Feels like I should give him one more chance, but I'm aware he did this last season (dry up in December and never get his form back). West Ham have some great fixtures coming up, but seem a bit unsettled in the transfer window.

I have 3 city players and 2 of them were on the bench for most of the Huddersfield game annoyingly.

Was toying with the idea of converting Success into Niasse but is it really worth burning the 0.4 I have ITB to cover him particularly as all I'm really looking for is a permanent slot 3 bench warmer who gets some game time. The answer is probably no and I should be looking for a way to convert one of my Silvas into Sane. Which will require a bit of juggling.

I have Kamara as my third striker. He probably won't play much for the rest of the season, much like Success. I'm sticking with him though, I think there is way more value in midfield than in attack, so having 5 midfielders and only two playing subs is the only way to make the most of that. I am sticking with it, probably until the end of the season/end of the season wildcard.

If you are desperate for a third playing bench, the cheapest playing striker who is almost guaranteed to play every game is Danny Ings at 5.5 or so. There isn't really anyone else who will reliably come off the bench, even for 1 or 2 points, that costs less. I don't think that the extra 1+million on someone who will rarely play is worth the money, especially if it will cost you two transfers to change your formation.

Rumours are Kamara is banished from the first team after a fist-fight with Mitrovic, and will be going on loan, if they can find anyone to take him. Currently training with the U23s.

Ings is the best of the cheapies, I reckon. That said, Niasse did well at Hull and is probably nailed on now, sad to say.

Hah, is he really?

Still probably going to keep him unless I get two transfers and don't want to make any other moves.

He’s now been arrested on charges of ABH after beating up a member of the training staff on Monday night, according to the Mail.

Transferred in Sane and Laporte for this week. 2pts between them. -2 from Digne, and Doherty sitting on the bench with 6pts. Gutted Arsenal lost their clean sheet at the last minute too, although at least Kola got an assist.

On the plus side, I got points from Richarlison and Jiminez, both of whom I came close to transferring out. Pogba got one from nowhere, and captaining Aubameyang seemed to pay off, although it leaves me hoping that Salah (who I also have) has a quiet one tomorrow.

61pts + Salah.

Digne though. What a twat, right before a double gameweek.

I've managed to pull myself up to 26th after being rock bottom for a while.

Did not see the Bournemouth score coming. Disappointing that Cook and Fraser were benched but relieved Fraser didn't get many points.

I got Pogba in just after Mourinho left and he's been a points machine. 8-)

Greetings all! Closing out the season, it's been a good one.

I have dropped to 5th in my local lead and really want to make top 3. Any tips on a strategy of my transfers for the end of the season? This is my current team, I have not made any changes this week and planning to save 2 transfers for next week.

Ill drop Son for Mane next week, who have HUD

After leading both leagues I'm in (work and mates) all season I very briefly lost top spot until captain Hazard saved me. Thinking I'll wildcard this week then bench boost next week during the double games. Provisional team is:

But might do some tinkering, possibly swap Aguero to an Arsenal striker and Salah/B Silva to Sterling/Son

So Kane is out for rest of season.  Thinking of replacing him with Aguero, but they have Crystal Palace at the weekend just before next week's Spurs Champions League game.

Guardiola's gonna rest Aguero for the Palace game, right?

As a Brighton fan, I'm pleased to see so many people activating the awesome power of Shane Duffy.

As a fantasy manager, I don't know if it is the most wise course of action but I'm all aboard the Duffy train.

I've got Dunk in, as to get one step ahead of the cosmic joke.

Both of them are just as capable of scoring own goals/getting red cards as netting, so there's no way I'm putting the armband anywhere near them.
