You can use it sideways.

I want to know, if you eject the disk does it just roll out along the table or what.

Do any other consoles just flop out the disk as if like a baby doing a little sick?

Why would it do that? The Xbox One and PS4 don't when vertical!

So many wee kids are going to pour stuff into that top grill / air vent.

About as many as have done it to the grill in the current Xbox one I would imagine.

They don’t put the disk slot right at table level though.

Seeing prices bandied about for this in the region of £599:blink:

I also hear that the launch games will include a remake of the original Ridge Racer arcade game (with reality synthesized graphics) and a game featuring historical battles set in ancient Japan.

And going forward from that, it'll have no games?

$499/€499

That's my guess.

£799 then

I was going to make a joke along those lines but I didn't want to politicise this thread. :D

The console war is enough politics.

Has there been any confirmation of whether cross-gen games like Halo Infinite will use the same code running across every compatible Xbox?

I expect it'll be around that price. Have you seen how much that scalpers charge for things at launch on eBay for new consoles?! Expect MS will want a reasonable price without going silly.

Given the price people are prepared to pay for gadgets these days £599 sounds reasonable for some new premium tech.

Personally I'll be getting a new GPU for the PC and just sticking with my PS4 Pro for as long as I can.

Hoping MS can back up the hardware with some compelling content.....

I don't see why not; it'll just look and play faster on the Series X.

That's what it sounds like. But it'll be the first time that a game just works across generations rather than needing to be ported.

@MattyP Once again you scare me my friend. I knew playing around with those isotopes would lead to a situation like this.

I think I'm in the first "Total Recall" here.
