Yeah just thought in the early Eps he came across as the weakest actor.

Diane Guerrero is the highlight though. She has blown me away.

I suppose he had the tough job early on in the season of being the 'straight man' to everyone else. And yep, Diane  thingy has been excellent too. They all have, tbf.

This has been great from the first episode, Diane Guerrero is amazing. Having sat through OITNB with the wife, I never thought she'd be capable of something this good.

Please renew

Yeah, that ending was outrageous and perfect. Just an amazing show from start to finish.

Agreed never seen the like on my telly before and quality was consistent all through the series.

Just watched the first two episodes and it's absolutely amazing. Sort of a cross between Umbrella Academy, Legion and loads of other things but it's so well done. Damn shame I haven't got time for another one.

The good news is,  it just gets better every episode.  It’s consistently amazing.

I tried pausing this and watching Titans beforehand as it's meant to come first chronologically. Gave up on it after four episodes. My god it is bad. Bloody awful writing leading to plot contrivances and things which don't make sense*, horrible characters**, terrible effects, amateurish acting, and dull, humourless, cliche-riddled dialogue. Can't believe the gulf in quality between it and DP, which I went back to straight after and soaked up another two brilliantly entertaining episodes.

* That weird 1950s family and the Jason Bourne prostitute teleporting to the exact location of Evil Girl despite having no way of knowing where she was. Jason Bourne prostitute finding some evidence box obviously hidden in the floor in the middle of a crime scene. I had more bullshit but really can't be bothered thinking about it any more.

** Robin "I had to leave Bataman because I was becoming too much like him!" then continuing to be exactly like him. The Jason Bourne prostitute "hero" who maims innocent cops doing their jobs. Those dreadful bird-themed "heroes" who have absolutely no skills or powers and who just act like assholes.

Anyway, to paraphrase Robin - fuck Titans.

The Titans/Doom Patrol crossover has different actors playing some of the roles, and is more like a ‘proof of concept’ version of Doom Patrol. Doesn’t tie in to the full series at all, so you’re not missing anything.

It's finally been renewed for a second season.

From the sound of it, it hinged on a deal with HBO Max, who will be getting the first season when it launches.

The more it goes on, the more I think the DC Universe streaming service is in trouble and I can see it being scrapped and folded into HBO Max.

There's no reason for these companies to try and create multiple separate streaming services in a marketplace with room for a limited number of giants.

Wow, there're some Titans apologists in this thread. Sucks to be you.

Anyway just finished season 1, and obviously it was brilliant but I do have one obvious question, probably been asked already but it's not like I've got time to read through three pages of thread - why was Niles Mr Glass-ing accidents to find people to unlock the secret to immortality when he hasn't aged a day in over 100 years?

TIA.

Finally caved and got a Starzplay subscription to watch this... and blimey it’s amazing.

Shame it’s stuck on the arse end of streaming services, deserves to be watched by a much bigger audience.
