I thought DQVIII was a big succes for that franchise here in the west?

Not massive. Sold 5+ million in total and 3.5 million of that was in Japan alone.

3DS remake just over 1m total with most sales being Japan.

Edge on Trailblazers in this month’s Hype section: “Splatoon meets F-Zero”

I’m hyperventilating. Trailblazers would have shot to the top of my most wanted list, but there is no list now, only Trailblazers.

hmm, I dunno, I'd like to get excited but it's the most purely cosmetic use of creativity. It can't be f zero if the crafts are so cumbersomely gigantic, which every futuristic racer seems to adopt, like controlling a pebble shaped monstrosity rather than a super sleek speed demon.

Trailblazers looks interesting.

Reminds me a bit of the amazing balls to the wall Redline.

I reckon Nintendo should still do a new F-Zero with the art style from Redline (or Viewtiful Joe, y'know comic style cell-shaded, lots of black). It'd be the futuristic racer to end them all.

The track looks like it's made of small hexagons like a Magnadoodle.

Also, Bizarre Creations; sold!

Which is which? Both are great.

Yeah. The slime cover is way better in the flesh - metallic blue; really nice, expensive finish there; non-subs are hardly being cheated.
