So you can only play it early if you bought a physical copy then? Hurrumph.

the irony,  I have a ps4 copy in my hand as per usual, ending up with my own pop up store.

Woohoo Simply delivered! Yay!

Installing now, downloading 18gb patch so not sure if they'll be a separate one after for the rest of the supposed 50gb? Disc install took no time at all which makes me think there's hardly anything on the disc.

So I can play Blackout but some options are locked, such as muting others which is weird, anyone who has finished the entire 50gb, does the mute option then become available?

It looks a lot crisper and smoother to me than the beta though I could be imagining it after spending my time playing Fallout 4 since the beta

reports are they have defo upped the graphics on blackout and the frame rates and saturated the colours more. The changes to level 3 armour and picks are what the community wanted apparently.

Oh really? It does look brighter for sure. Haven't come across level 3 armour yet, it's like I never played the beta I'm so bad. So do you have the mute option locked too?

Unlocking new characters in Blackout looks quite cool (and challenging).

First, you're going to have to find some little trinket in a box (like poker chips in order to unlock Crash). Then you go to your menu and see what the challenges are in order to unlock that specific character. In Crash's case, for example, you will need to finish top 5 with 15 healing items and the poker chips still on you.

Really like that direction.

Was getting slaughtered repeatedly on Blackout earlier, patch finally finished so tried some deathmatch, it was absolutely horrible I'm too old for that. Went back to Blackout, first game, took it steady and deployed out of the way and I got my first win, I hope my neighbours aren't back yet to hear my whoops! Using the perks you pick up along the way effectively is really key as is sneaky skill and lots of luck.

Been watching this on Twitch today cos I was thinking about getting it but it just looks really boring and repetitive. Could still be tempted for Blackout, but not interested for normal multiplayer at all.

Yep, it's worth it for Blackout but the standard multiplayer is as you would expect from a COD game. If a group of you do get it on PS4 and have space for a member in a quad let me know.
