He's never said anything in public (he's not that stupid) but he goes to a church renowned for being anti gay and providing gay conversion therapy. I think he was whining on about the Church not being anti-LGBTQ, which is fucking ludricious. Of course it is. I think a stated reason for he and Anna Fais divorcing was that she wasn;t devout. I had read rumours about him being a pain on MCU sets too and bothering people, banging on about God and shit and handing out psalms to people. Could just be bullshit rumours though. Nintendo have hired a new young star to take on Mario's voice and has to spend a week with Charles at his home during his last week working for Nintendo. They both start off on the wrong foot, with Charles over managing and following the new guy everywhere. The movie is about Charles letting go and passing on the torch to a new generation of Mario fans.
