That looks great! Ordered thanks.

Hope you like it, gave me a very enjoyable few hours yesterday. And a love of Mondrian.

Browsing the Capcom sale myself. Is Devil May Cry 3 the one to go for in that series?

Has there ever been a better £0.89 eShop nugget than Please, Touch the Artwork? Loving it!

Picked it up yesterday on this recommendation and it is lovely. Played for about an hour so far which has got most of the way through one section. The puzzles are well paced and the extra information about the artwork (Mondrian so far) has been an interesting look into an art style that I don't know much about. On top of that it is really well presented with an easy to use UI. You can easily just play the game and solve the puzzles without getting into the background art stuff if that is what you really wanted, though you'd be missing out.

Definitely worth more than the paltry 89p it is going for.

Well I just found finished Please, Touch the Artwork and it was smashing. The three puzzles right at the end were just the wrong side of guesswork to be honest but I’d have been more than happy with paying full price for that since the rest of it was just wonderful. Lovely.

This looks like a ridiculous deal. Diablo Prime Evil Collection including Diablo II Resurrected and Diablo III Eternal Collection for £16.49. Incredible price for both games.

I can’t see that at all on the UK eshop, do you have a link please?

I've been trying to wean myself off buying e-shop games, but I can't help myself.

Ori and the Blind Forest: Definitive Edition is just £3.74. (If only for the next hour).

I’ve had my eye on the Ori games ever since I got my Oled model.

I’ve already played them (and completed the first) on Xbox / PC, plus have too many games in my backlog, but they sure are beautiful looking games 😍

I've been given £40 eShop credit for my birthday. Does anyone know if I can use eShop credit to buy the game vouchers (the 2 digital games for £84 thing)? I'd have to get a NSO membership first to be able to buy them, but I was planning on doing that anyway for the virtual console stuff. I'm trying to figure out the cheapest way of getting Tears of the Kingdom digitally, as I'd prefer to have it digital than physical.

NSO: £13.49 from CDKeys

Game Vouchers: £84 - £40 credit (assuming I can use it) = £44

Total: £57.49 for 2 digital games, or £28.75 for one.

That doesn't seem too bad!

I'd quite like to get the expansion pack so that I can play Waverace 64 and Metroid Fusion, but those are the only two games I'm interested in and it doesn't seem worth it at £35 for the expansion pack membership.

Has anyone else played Sokobond? Picked it up on sale a few days ago and it’s become my new puzzle obsession, it’s absolutely magnificent.

Never heard of it, but it looks right up my street and it's on offer now (50% off) for £3.60 odd. Thanks!

Was cheaper on the XBOX last week. Great deal alright. And Diablo 2 remaster is pretty great but nothing touches D3. Get it quick.

Bought the Eurogamer Essential Rytmos this evening (there's a sale on and it's under a tenner). The aforementioned review is by Christian Donlan and my tastes often don't align with his so I was a little reticent despite it looking my bag.

It's a line drawing puzzle game (sort of Witness-style but slightly more simplistic) wrapped up in a world music, Giles Peterson-style, hyper-wanky asthetic. Each set of puzzles is based on a genre of music, but of the type you're unlikely to find on your pub jukebox.  I think one is 1940-1960 Hawaiian and another is Ethiopian Jazz. The reward for completing a puzzle is an instrument from the genre and you get to have a little jamming session with the song you've just built.

It's exceptionally chilled and exactly what I'm after at the moment. Weirdly reminds me of a PSP game during the rhythm action boom. Have a look

Ethiopian Jazz

You have my attention! On the strength of that alone I am going to download it now.

I am NUTS about the Ethiopian jazz sound, anyone who fancies a sniff of it should get into the Ethiopiques series, a wealth of wonderful Ethiopian music there. Or if you just want to hear something incredible, listen to the Hailu Mergia & His Classical Instrument: Shemonmuanaye album. If you like this track, you will love all of it:

I can second the recommendation for the Ethiopiques series. There's loads of it, but it's consistently brilliant. It's also one of the easier ways to hear Mahmoud Ahmed's superb album "Ere Mela Mela". (It's more like Ethiopian Jazz/Soul but it's near enough).

Can't recommend this enough too. Maryam Guèbrou just passed away, aged 99. A queen.

Massive YES for Ethiopiques - some magnificent stuff on there if you’ve never given a listen.

Just picked up The Suicide of Rachel Foster currently on the e-Shop (1 day remaining) for £1.69 (£16.99 normally).

Seems something right up my street - like narrative based horror puzzlers... see how it goes. Should keep me busy until next Friday... ;)

Ooooh this is creepy feels like I'm playing Stephen King's The Shining...

Picked up a Pro controller tonight ready for Zelda next week. Wasn't having fun with those little joycon sticks not great IMHO for longer gaming sessions....
