Me, I'm replaying 2...

Man, I'm a cheapskate.

I'm replaying the 3DS ones as I recently modded my 2DS XL and had to lose my saves in the process.

Also got 1 and 2, Nazarick and the Sega one on the Switch, as well as the Hatsune Miku one and Muder by numbers so a lot to go at. Now I'm not on the train to work, don't play them as much though, need to get back to them as I find them pretty relaxing

Just got Art of Rally in the sale and I’m a bit disappointed.
On the first proper stage - Japan - with lovely artwork and cherry blossom everywhere, the draw distance is horrendous, with trees part rendering until they are barely meters from your car (in docked mode too). When I look at MK8 straight after it….

^ yeah, art of rally is amazing, imo anyway, but is much more of a hog on performance than you'd expect, I'm not surprised the switch version struggles with popin/draw distance.

But why - looks like there isn’t a great deal going on and vs many many Switch games I can think of it just performs very badly. I think it’s just poorly ported surely.

yeah good point i didn't explain why - i've played it on pc, where i had to turn some settings down to get it to run smooth, and xbox where there was popin/draw distance stuff too. so yeah i think it's just not well optimised, it's a small team to be fair. and like i said i still think it's a brilliant game.

Hey all, I'm looking for some eshop sale recommendations. (I'm really keen on those £1.79 games!)

I've started to play an hour in bed lately - quiet games that don't need much interaction. I veer towards arty, unique and short - not really rogue likes.  Annapurana type things.

Golf Club Wasteland - Found the soundtrack to this to be so immersive, sucked me in when the odd golf level was driving me mad. Loved it.

If Found - more of a graphic novel, the artwork was beautiful and compelling.

Stories Untold - Spooky, nearly wish id waited until Halloween for this, enjoyable.

I have it on xbox but never played it, more likely to try it on the switch and it’s the magic price, so thats it bought!

Holy shit it’s so, so good. An absolute triumph in story-telling through gameplay alone, not stupidly long cutscenes and terrible dialogue.

Baobabs Mausoleum (Or to give it the proper name, "Jacob Jazz's Baobabs Mausoleum Ep.1: Ovnifagos Don´t Eat Flamingos") is one of the most batshit games I've played in ages. The other two episodes are just as weird.
