Was it limited to one year when you changed over? If I can't stack I won't worry about it, it's just that there are some decent deals on 12 month family subs that I wanna take advantage of.

Sorry - no idea.

I had a family sub with about four months left to run on it. I bought the expansion pack and ended up with a brand new family sub running for a year. It applied a discount at purchase to reflect the remaining time on my first sub.

I've never considered stacking these things and I don't know how it would work if you did.

I'd buy a 1 year sub, upgrade it, then try to extend it further - if the process appears to allow that then you could buy additional 1 year subs and upgrade them without risk.

It's unclear what happens if your existing online family membership value (calculated as days remaining * £0.08) exceeds £59.99. The excess must either become normal Nintendo credit, or some unique type of subscription credit. The latter sounds less likely.

That's what I'm struggling to find out - if you buy 3 years of family membership then add the expansion pack, from what I understand it'll discount your one year. I can't seem to find anything on Google about what happens when that exceeds your expansion pack cost or you want to stack.

Ah no worries, cheers though. Might just be brave over the weekend and find out myself.

Completely forgot we were still waiting on something this month. I’ll probably spend as much time with it as I did when emulating when it came out, which is to say not complete a single level. But it’ll be nice to talk me down from the ledge if I’m ever tempted to buy the modern one.

The modern sequel was one of the most anticlimactic “the credits already – was that it?!” experiences I’ve ever had in decades of gaming, TBH. Although I’ll admit that I should’ve expected that, having read the reviews. It was enjoyable in an unchallenging, chill-out game sort of way, but there’s barely six hours gameplay unless you’re willing to constantly replay the stages to catch minor differences.

I played it again a year or so ago and it's still great. Still one of the silliest, in a good, funny way, scripts out there. Definitely get the Switch version though. Loading is still a bit of a pain but nowhere close to the WiiU.

Lego Undercover - never played it, still considered a good game?  Which one is it, Wii U or Switch that has awful loading times, or is it both?  Are they really as bad as I recall people saying.

Genuinely one of the greatest open world games ever.

What can I get in the sale for the kids to play together.
They are 6 and 11 and love a bit of hyper charged but need something new.
Was about to pull trigger on PvsZ but no bloody split screen - what a joke.

So a kid friendly multiplayer shooter please.

Had a look - would be ideal but no split screen as far as I can see and a bit pricy. I bet it’s fun though.

Yes @Stejay. You won't be disappointed with Lego Undercover. I played it on Wii U and despite the loading times had an absolute blast. It's my favourite ever Lego game.

Weirdly enough I bought this a while back in a sale having played it on Wii U and stuck it on for the first time last night. Lots of laughs just in the first half hour and I'd forgotten how many of the jokes would sail over childrens heads but are built for my 50 year old brain. Thinking of all the cops at the briefing.
