Not really, if anything it rewards patience and strategy. Good leaderboard too as I recall so it's rewarding to replay levels if youre the competitive type. As you unlock cars the handling really does differ - so you might find one that suits you a lot more. I found it really hard at first, but once I got a car that suited me the game came into focus a lot more. It’s not easily accessible in the beginning, but there is a great arcade racer under the initial shell. Pretty hard actually - it’s certainly not trivial. But contact them, they do offer refunds on purchases. I think you can only do 1-2 a year or something though.
