Got some major choice paralysis on what to pick up. Fancy Hexagroove, Voez, Assault Android Cactus, Space Harrier and Fantasy Zone on the SEGA Ages, the Konami Arcade and Contra classics collections, Demon's Tilt, Yooka-Laylee and Bloodstained. 

 

Either going to buy none and regret it or buy way too many and regret it.

Has anyone played "The Room" on Switch? It's down to about £2, I played it on iPad but if it has good use of HD rumble I might run through it again.

I played it mostly in handheld mode and thought it was quite enjoyable for the 2-3 hours it took me to get through it. Pretty much every single puzzle, though, just involves you turning whatever the object is over and over until you find the relevant clue. It's not exactly taxing but quite relaxing nonetheless. For £2 I'd say go for it.

I might have understated it a bit, I've played them all as touchscreen games.  Was the HD rumble used well? I like the idea of feeling the wheels and slidey things and stuff.

I can't actually remember, to be honest. I know that I didn't find it clumsy to play, despite not using the touch screen much.

It's part of the reason I'm leaning more toward Hexagroove really. I'm quite the fan of reaching for the lasers and it just seems more likely to suit my tastes.

If you Search, filtering by games on offer, instead you get a different, more useful (it tells you the name of the game rather than have to decipher the image) list which doesn't scroll slowly.

It's part of the reason I'm leaning more toward Hexagroove really. I'm quite the fan of reaching for the lasers and it just seems more likely to suit my tastes.

I have, and its flippin' great. Though I am someone who describes The Witcher 3 as 'the amazing card game with the annoying walking simulator attached to it'.

A couple of recommendations from me:

 

Rise: Race the Future is the best arcade racer on the Switch (yes, better than VR) and is down to it's lowest price of £11.20

Battle Chasers: Nightwar is a hugely enjoyable RPG with turn based battles and is also down to it's lowest price of £10.49

 

Both of those have the most generic names imaginable but both have tons of character and absolutely shit loads of content. (Played both for over 50 hours)
