If I do that does it split the games to different profiles? Or will I be able to see and access everything from the main games list?

Can play everything from the main games list. If you delete them, you have to download from the profiles where you bought them.

Only thing that changed for me is when I start a game, I then have to choose which profile to play it with (I always choose the default UK one).

So its just one extra click when playing a game.

I don't know if it's been talked about, but Doom 64 is really, really good. It passed me by back in the day (even though I think I had the cart) because it was crummy 2D sprites and old school keys-in-doors level design in the era of Goldeneye and Perfect Dark and Turok 2. Turns out it has aged better than any of them. Get on't.

It's exceptionally good.  So good I started a thread about it in the Retro folder a few years ago because nobody ever talks about it.

I've been playing the new Bethesda release today on PC and presuming the Switch version is the same, it comes highly recommended.

There's a demo for Disaster Report 4 out now. It's not very good.

I haven't played it but you're the first I've seen say that - everyone else has been pretty positive.

I understand the series is an acquired taste though.

On the Switch it's technically awful, running at what seems to be less than 20fps, and to me at least the gameplay comes across as shallow and dull, what little of it there is in the demo. I can understand it being a cult favourite though, there's a conversation system that allows for a lot of different responses to people, including some bizzarre/off-colour options that might provide some amusement.

I gave up on Doom 3 this morning after about half an hour's play. Fucking hell. Walk into room, get jumped. Walk into room, get jumped, walk into room... press HOME, + and then "Delete Software". I should've known it wasn't actually a Doom game when I saw there was a button to reload.

It's been the best part of 2 decades but I seem to remember some awful mechanic where the game was almost entirely dark and you were allowed to have either a gun or a torch out, not both.

They patched that out.

I kind of like it when considered as  more of a horror game than a proper Doom. It's not patch on Doom 2016 or its precursors  of course but it is better than Doom Eternal.

More accurately, they changed it in the re-release. The original game never had a patch to change it, only unofficial mods.

I loved the mechanic, though, even though it made no sense. Really amped up tension. Hated the game at first though, it took me a second attempt about a year later to gel with it.

One Step from Eden is out today. It's a Roguelike which mixes grid-based bullet hell dodging with Slay the Spire style deck-building:

It's definitely an awkward mix at first, as you're trying to keep an eye on your cards and think about how to use them while dodging relentless attacks. And it doesn't exactly ease you in to its systems. But once it clicks it is very good. Well worth it if you have the patience to tolerate the early difficulty.

Yep, have this on review and that are pretty much my views too.

It’s great. Nice chilled cross between Layton and Ace Attorney. Some excellent characters and writing.

Oh wow, this had totally passed me by but it sounds right up my street. I think it's the name being so similar to about a million* other eShop games at least.

* three or four
