Well Murder by Numbers is fucking excellent.

Loving the 80s aesthetic. Crossed with the Phoenix Wright FX. And Picrossed with the number puzzle gameplay.

Recommended.

C'mon, just look at Honor's shirt, belt and jacket. It's that, or the beginning of Rocko's Modern Life.

And VHS storage for the surveillance logs?

It's mid-90s

Celeste and Towerfall are both heavily discounted. The latter is down to about 4 quid on the RSA eshop. What's it like for gaming noobs, as playing it with the missus and our non-gaming mates is probably the only time I'd ever play it?

And if you haven't got Celeste yet give yourself a short sharp slap and buy it immediately.

Buy it! It’s really easy to make Towerfall accessible for gaming noobs as it has a wealth of handicapping options. I can play a pretty fair game with my 10 and 8 year old daughters.

Also even at full price I’d say Towerfall is worth it for its single player content. £4 is a steal for a game this good.

Murder By Numbers is, at least after an hour or so, brilliant. The theme song is delightfully crap, the dialogue is often genuinely funny and there is also some Picross.

The puzzles aren't very challenging yet but the rest of the bumf is more than making up for it.

Let's hope there's no Mega Picross puzzles in there...

Sounds good - I've picked it up.

I noticed Rocket League was on sale as well. Anyone know if it supports 4 player split screen with single joycons? I reckon that'd be a good party game as well if it does.

Fine. The decades begin to blur a bit once you've lived through enough of them.

This made me smile. Then I idly did a quick count of the number of decades I’ve been alive in...

It’s 7 (seven), fucking se7en, @smac.

Fucking great, thanks for that you bastard!

What is this exactly? I've seen it loads of times in the Japanese eShop but never been sure. I thought it might be a karaoke game or something.

Yea that’s exactly what it is! Joysound are one of the big karaoke systems, my Japanese ain’t what it was but it looks like this is a subscription based app that links into the system and streams songs to the Switch.

another good looking multiplayer game, Baron Fur Is Gonna Fly, reminds me of an old Amiga game I used to play with my sister called Bip - we used it to decide who did washing up or assigned chores as a high stakes best of 3 playoff

doesn't look worth £18 unless you regularly have large gatherings and lots of joy cons, so another for the dekudeals wishlist

Oh that does look good.  Don’t think I can stretch to 18 quid though.

Thanks for this. Always wanted to give Celeste a go but never got round to it. Couldnt say no to this price and I used my points so it cost me about 50p.

Played about an hour. Proper platforming challenge which I love. Looking forward to collecting all those strawberries. Already feeling like I made a great purchase here.

Oh man - if you've not played it before then you're in for a treat.

Just been sent a code for Roundguard, a dungeon crawler with Peggle mechanics. Looks interesting at least.

Interesting indeed.

Here's hoping it's another PictoQuest (which I really enjoyed) - puzzle game RPG mashup.

As long as it has an end and isn't an endless rogue style game.

Your post spurred me into buying it. Currently staying at a hotel in the middle of nowhere and this is ace. Celeste and red wine for the win. For added info my very pregnant girlfriend is having a long bath so I need something to doz

It's incredible. If anyone has even the smallest love for platformers then this is for you. It's challenging, funny, original. It's just really great. I've even roped the family in to help me with some of the tougher strawberries and that. At just over 6 quid it's a steal. Wish I'd got it sooner.

Purchased a game (Celeste at 66% off, yas) half an hour ago via the eShop app on the Switch, but it still hasn’t begun downloading, nor has its icon appeared on the dash.

The money has come off my account, I’ve tried re-downloading a couple of times, and still nothing. What the fuck is this shit?
