But anyway - is there any way to zoom or scroll the map in Doom?

Not that I'm aware of, caught me right out when I tried to pan and realised I was walking around...forgot about that :)

Cheats are in a menu too which I've made good use of, just like back in the day :D

Am I the only one that would prefer Quake on Switch than any Doom?

Prefer possibly not but I would pay good money for a Switch port of Quake 1 and 2

Are you listening Bethesda?

I’d rather have SW Dark Forces, but I am a sad old SW fanboy! :blah:

(X-Wing, TIE Fighter or X-Wing Vs TIE Fighter as well please)

Yep, already got that, but there is something about DF.  Maybe it’s because it was one of the few games I had for my old Apple PowerPC many years ago.

Yeah don't get me wrong I'd also pay cold cash monies for Dark Forces and Jedi Knight too

You started playing. 140 hours later, you raised your head, stared blearily out at the world, and tried to unclamped your now claw-like fingers from your DS, wondering where the time had gone.

If you're anything like me when playing Picross.

And then you started on the second puzzle?

I notice that other Jupiter-made anime Picross game, the cute one, is 30% off now. We're living in a Picross golden age.

And Jupiter seem to be having a reveal tomorrow as well.

You can never have too much Picross.

Is it just Picross 3D? I mean, theres no unnecessary upgrades like powerups or anything?

None at all. Very streamlined and pure 3D Picross.

If anyone picks up Madoris R, please tell me your thoughts.

It's Tetris with toilets.

it's only £3.59, worth a punt unless you aren't feeling flush.

Normally I'd pounce but I've bought so many Switch games recently I'm swamped.

Anyone played Mutant Year Zero? How accessible is it for someone who got on well enough with Mario and Rabbids, but struggled with XCom? Due mainly to the stuff outside the combat.

It's on Xbox GamePass if you have that and want to try it out. I've played it for an hour or so, and the combat is very XCom-y, but I haven't got as far as the non-combat stuff yet to know how that works.

I can't speak of the game itself, but I'd advise reading up a bit on the Switch version before buying. I read stuff at the time of release that made it sound like one of the rougher ports on the system.

I'd say Mutant is less accessible than Xcom. The real time stealth element gives you quite a lot more to think about.
