Hmm, that would be disappointing.

Disappointing because you’ve played it before?

It’s a really good game and a good fit for the platform imo, whether you’ve played it or not. Hopefully the sequel will follow too.

It's a pretty-but-average Metroidvania. Personally I'd prefer Rare Replay to come over, but I doubt they'd announce that at an Indie event.

Follow-up tweets seem to clarify that one is

Superhot

and the other might be

Hotline Miami

Neither of which are MS games, and we already knew HM was coming at some point.

Yeah, I know. I was reading the second tweet in that chain.

Fire Pro Wrestling would be classed as an indie... If it gets announced I might put myself through a table.

Have there been rumours of this then?

Nope. I'm just keeping the dream alive. I imagine once the PS4 version is finished a Switch port could happen. Fingers crossed.

Do you mean since the PS4 version is finished, or after they’re done with DLC? It has been out for months.

Yeah but they are constantly patching it and adding DLC - once that is finished I think they might consider a Switch port.

It would be a perfect fit for the Switch. I put lost many a lunch break to the GBA version.

Haha me too. I have the Japanese versions of both. The sequel seems to be particularly rare as it never seems to appear on eBay. No idea if I'm sitting on a potential retirement fund!

No idea how that happened - accidental post.

Well it’s certainly an unusual form of Tourette’s.

Is it usual for Switch games to come out on Sunday? FAR: Lone Sails is apparently out today, but it isn’t available yet.

Really!? I didn't realise that had been ported. One for the list.

Yeah. I’ve been after it since it was raved about on TCGS podcast last Christmas. I finally picked up reduced from Steam a few weeks back and typically haven’t played it. I stand a much better chance of doing so on the Switch though.

Wear headphones. Music is an integral part of the experience.

I dislike a smoothing filter as much as the next man but I did buckle on Grandia having really been in the mood for a well-regarded PS1-era RPG I'd never played and oh man it's just so beautiful on the wee screen. Yes it's a shame I don't get the jaggy edges I like but I can't get enough of just swinging the camera about and watching the 2D sprites change with the 3D backgrounds. And it's so colourful!
