It's amazing how often it is late on the Google Newsstand, considering it's basically a bloody pdf and not the fancy bollocks that Apple users get. 

 

I've had it as much as 3 weeks late before now, and while google will usually respond with an apology, Future don't seem to give a shit and neither their email support or Edge's twitter usually ever reply. And certainly never seem to have a good reason as to what the hold up is. 

 

I wish it was still easy to find the print version as I'd love to switch back. Can't have it posted as there is a communal letterbox here and the neighbours treat post like it's something to be stomped on and kicked around the hallway.

I was kinda missing edge, just reading (and arguing about) the scores each month wasn't quite the same. Back in the day I used to have to wait two or three weeks for the latest edge to arrive in the Netherlands, so waiting two or three weeks for it to be uploaded on Google Newsstand has something nostalgic to it for me. But I did assume that going digital meant that I would finally receive the latest edge at the same time as you guys. 

 

Edit: as of this writing it's still not available. I also wonder whether Apple users have already gotten theirs

I'm glad I'm not the only one. I wouldn't mind going back to the print edition but it works out at something like £30 more expensive over the year, I believe, which I know isn't much, but still, as @SteveH says, it is pretty much only a pdf they need to upload.

 

I might send a letter in. Maybe they'll print it in the letters section...

Amazing the reaction you get from a simple difference in opinion, followed by the targeting of an individual.

 

Very friendly forum, certainly encourages others to have different opinions.

It's arbitrary for me too because I played it long before I had a professional interest in games. I don't know what I'd have given it, but while I have very fond memories of it, it's no MK7 or 8, both Edge 9s.
