That's not actually ever been the issue here

 

The initial problem was linking to someone loads of people had never heard of rather than a more high-profile dare I say reliable source

 

My problem now that I felt safe to watch this YouTuber is he's really not very good

 

I am fine with a reviewer being enteraining or informative, he's neither

Linkster my reply wasn't  intended as being negative to you're reply.  At the end of the day the only opinion that matters to me is my own.

My wife dragged me to Mary Queen of Scots, when I didn't want to* so I'm dragging her to this as a quid pro quo. She's going to hate it :D

 

* Nothing against historical dramas in general, just thought this looked dull (and I was right)

"Felt safe"?!? Its a video, click on it and watch for two seconds to see what you think. I can't believe the hysteria about someone posting a link to a review without what? Writing a little paragraph about who made the video? Every time you post one? Rather than people just watching it or not like autonomous humans?

Just got back from this. I have to say, I really enjoyed it! Objectively it ain't great by any stretch (the dialogue is bafflingly pants, and there was very little subtlety or sense of human frailty) but it was good cyberpunk. 

 

To both our astonishment, Mrs. Treb enjoyed it as well, despite her being so PO'ed at being dragged to it that we had a barny on the way there :D

It is also, whatever its flaws, presumably not entirely centred around the vapid regurgitation of 1980s pop culture. Unless they've taken some particularly wild liberties with the source material.

I haven't seen it, but since Cameron's actively involved, it'll have good 3d.  Whether you think 3d is good is another matter...
