Mad Max isn’t worth the upgrade from blu-ray. The HDR multiplies the artificiality of certain effects tenfold and resolution wise nothing much is gained as the film was mastered in 2K. 
 

The Shining, Lawrence of Arabia and 13 Hours are some examples of true reference discs.
