Watched the first episode, it's really good. The saving grace is that there are good gags outside of the murder documentary satire AND on top of that I do find myself intrigued to see how the seemingly 'stupid' plot unfolds. I can see there being lots of twists and turns just like the documentaries it makes fun of, I think that's the key to making this work for 8 hours.

Can't wait to watch the next episode.

What a fantastic series, it really pulls you in with some brilliant writing. I would never have considered watching this without having seeing the reviews here first.

It's definitely not a laugh out loud comedy, and I don't think it's meant to be. There's no slapstick or set pieces , but I'm grinning all the way through it. I think its closest in tone to the Christopher Guest films, so if you don't like Best in Show or Spinal Tap then you probably won't like this. It's also a really good procedural detective story.

Finished.

Initially disappointed that there was no clear resolution but then if you think about it the shows that it satires (Jinx, TMAM and Keepers) have no true resolutions so in that sense I think it works. It also opens up the ridiculousness of the concept of possibly continuing the #whodrewthedicks question into further shows down the road. The joke of the show is that it's a 8 hour documentary about drawing dicks, it's quite fitting that the punchline is that 8 hours isn't enough to uncover the mystery.

It's great. Not only a great spoof but it really draws you into the mystery.

Yeah, I was sold by watching the trailer thinking it was a straight up parody about drawing dicks on cars but it ended up being more than that. By the time I got to the final episode I'm like "but who drew the dicks?"

The guy that played Dylan was fantastic. Also loved the show's intro had the character's credited.

I really enjoyed this, and binged it all in two sprints. Thought it did an excellent job of treading the line between comedic and straightfaced spoof.

But I agree with debaser, and disagree with K, so I'm worried I've malfunctiones.

Welcome to the lowest common denominator.

Ah, picks up again next episode. Phew.

This character though. The actor is the ONLY one so far out of 50 or so that really over eggs her performance, a show like this really hinges on natural performance. Quite a few actors sort of over do a line here or there but this one is almost playing it like she's in an episode of TheOffice (US) or something

This is absolutely fucking awful. I lasted about ten minutes, the only joke was the fact that someone had spray painted cocks into some cars. 'Making a Murderer' was funnier.

I just binged season 1, it's great. What were you expecting from it? A laugh a minute parody? It's meant to be taken as a serious thing but about a stupid subject.

It's has this weird thing about really making you invested in the charcters like its a real documentary even though its not.
