Yeah its the Friday night game. The ticket prices for that game are a disgrace.

Up to us to keep this form going though - Nuno is always very grounded and we have some quality players who just can't get into the side at the moment so I'd say the odds are against us throwing this away based on Nuno's reign so far.

Our bench tonight was ridiculous!

The tickets prices at Hillsborough have been a source of an anger and embarrassment for a couple of seasons now. Do not know about ticket prices as I have a season ticket  but I am guessing we will be trying to charge anywhere between 40 and 50 quid for away fans at the Wolves match.

Well Boro knocked us back down to earth ^_^ I know it's tough to get someone who can put the ball in the back of the net regularly but I reckon right now I could play up top for Blues and score more than anyone else in the side (and i'm getting fat and slow)

Great timing too with Hogan and Kodja out.

Kodja's injury sounds nasty, I think I read he might be out for the season, is that right?

Still, Villa's form is amazing, with Sheff Utd dropping loads of points this weekend it's great timing.

@Naysonymous So, how do you feel about Blues v Wolves next Monday, I expect you want both teams to lose right? :)

Can we have Swappy back for Adomah back please? I'll even drop off Adama Traore off myself.

Never understood why we got rid of Adomah, he deserved his chance in the premier league. Think it was a falling out with Karanka at the time, plus Karanka might have thought he could turn Adama Traore into an actual footballer. He couldn't, no one can apparently. He is basically a Speedboat without a Steering wheel.

I cant think of a bigger waste of potential I have ever seen because physically and dribbling wise, he is a different class. But its like he has never watch or played a game of football.

There are a few players on daft scoring runs at the moment.  Adomah, Clarke, Vydra.

Did you go on Saturday, @dr_manhattan^?  Saw the Leeds game on a stream and went with my son to the Bolton game.  We're playing some unreal stuff right now.  Defenders just look completely shellshocked when we blitz past them.

On Saturday, Wheater tried his best to clobber Jota (the one challenge he did make was disgraceful and he should have walked for it) but Jota gave plenty back - he's a tough little sod.  It seems that the 'foreign lot' are more than capable of playing in the cold, the wind, the rain.  9 goals in 2 games in pretty horrible conditions should dispel that myth once and for all.

But by concentrating on Jota, it gave Cavaleiro more space to cause havoc - he was unplayable at times.  And doubling up on him gave Bonatini plenty of space in the middle of the pitch, with excellent support from Douglas and Doherty down both flanks.  It was devastatingly effective.  When Cav was subbed off, we had the luxury of bringing on Helder Costa!

If we carry on as we are, we simply won't be stopped.  The new lads have adapted to the rigours of the Championship and they're a class above this level.  We won't win every week, nor will we play well in every single game - I think our biggest challenge will be complacency.  It's by far and away the best Wolves side I've ever seen.

@Boothjan yes I was there mate, Steve Bull upper for the first time this season.  Been in all four stands this season now :)

I missed Leeds, but did Reading away before that.

I completely agree with your thoughts.  It was a weird atmosphere because, in general, it's just easy, and by that I don't mean the score line, but the players bearly looked as if they were trying that hard to me.  There seemed to be lots to give.

I actually don't think Neves had his best game (will be a miss for Blues though) but he still put that amazing ball through with the outside of his boot for the second goal.

Douglas is playing like a man with Vinagre breathing down his neck, and Cav the same with Costa back firing.

Jota as you say, is getting all the attention from the Championships finest, he looks a little frustrated to me, but it's just allowing Cav to run riot.  He has been amazing in all three games this week, he's on fire right now.

The only weakness I can see at the moment is that we're sometimes trying to dribble the ball out of our box at the wrong time.  Reading should have scored as a result of this and Bolton did.

In the Premier League we would be punished for this.

But yeah, I can't believe how well things are going.  Great to see Costa back to his old self, there's just something about his balance and run that's wonderful to watch.  He is special.

Might go to Sunderland at home, not decided yet.

The last two goals were amazing  Proper Championship goalmouth scrambles!

Absolutely no idea how QPR got anything out of that - I thought Brentford looked decent in the 2nd half.  Vibe's 2nd came after a lovely passing move.  But then they totally fucked it up at the end.

Holloway's post match interview pissed me off a bit though - he really is a prize bell end.  Don't have a massive go at your own supporters when you serve up a dross performance like that - you can't blame fans for leaving early when there were next to no signs that they were ever going to get anything from the game.  (I'd never leave a game early but that's not the point - fans pay their money and are entitled to bugger off early if the performance is bad without being subjected to a attention seeking tantrum from a Gollum-esque manchild).

I have mixed feelings about that.  I agree, you pay your money and it's your choice, but I think it's fine for a manager to request the full support of his crowd.

It did annoy me on Saturday the numbers of people streaming out of the North Bank lower in particular, I just can't understand it.

I don't think it's fine for the manager to lambast the support when the performance was that bad.  I think it's out of order.

Like I said, I never leave early.  I've had to leg it pretty sharpish at full time during midweek games as I need to catch a train that if I miss, getting home becomes bloody tricky due to the shite connections at local stations.  But otherwise, I don't really understand it.

But if you've paid the money, I guess it's your prerogative.

Yeah, I can understand running for trains in midweek.  Midweek games are just not really possible for me as it is.

I've only left early once, that was for the FA Cup game with the Albion, I just couldn't take any more.

Turned off the QPR v Brentford match at 2-0 thinking it was all over, just seen the score! :o

My neighbours probably think a complete psycho has moved in next door given the amount of loud angry swear words I was directing at the TV last night.

Like City fans in 2012, a section of QPR fans will never forget the day they left early to beat the traffic.

People leave early for many reasons. Being utterly pissed off is one of them. Holloway should never have said what he said. The only reason to stay is if they do that week in week out. They won’t do that again in a decade.

@dr_manhattan^ there’s loads of places, but I like a nice boozer opposite St Marys in Paddington called Fountains Abbey, they have all the footy on.

I’ll be watching it from behind the sofa at home. Just hope we don’t get embarrassed.

Cheers, much appreciated, I'll take a look.

Not seen a lot of Blues to be honest this season, I think only the Villa and Sheff Utd games.  They were decent in that second game to be fair, I expect it suited Blues more playing away from home though.

We played half your team away this season when they all still played for Brentford and couldn't beat them, so you never know, Blue Jota has to start playing well at some point.

Another Wednesday fuck up. Hull are awful but somehow managed to be one up at half time. We pull it back and then take then lead and then as always try and sit back. This is possible if you have half decent centre-backs. We don't.

Not one for calling for managerial changes but something is clearly wrong at the club. Our signings have been awful, our best eleven is still mainly made up of players from the Stuart Gray era. You know you are in trouble when the crowd start being sarcastic. Singing 'We've had a shot."

Deserved to win that as it should have been more than 1-0, despite being nowhere near our best. Our back 3 were excellent and completely protected Ruddy who never had to make a save.

Birmingham are in a bad place - so many empty seats, very little goal threat, diabolical atmosphere for a local derby. They're in for a long, hard struggle this season.

Neves will be back on Saturday when I expect a better performance but getting 3 points when being well below par is no bad thing!

Why did you start with Jutkiewitz (I know that's spelled wrong) when we had Willy Boly? It was a total mismatch. Che Adams would have tested us far more. And I've no idea what's happened to your Jota. He doesn't fit into the side at all.
