Well go on...  I've spent a few hours on the first today and it's a bit clunky in places but it's not a bad game by any stretch!

I never played the second, to be fair, but the first game was shite in every way you could imagine.

Are there different power supplies for the fat 360, then? I've just got a console from a kind forumite, but the power supply for my chipped console doesn't fit. The new console seems to have a post in the middle of the power socket, preventing my power lead from plugging in.

I think I have a 175 watt one and need a 203. What's wrong with a fucking kettle lead, Microsoft? Eh? Eh? What's wrong with something everyone has got a fucking million of lying around? You couldn't go with something simple, could you? Noooo! You have to be there big shot console manufacturer and use a proprietary power supply, don't you? Dickhead.

imagine how big it would have been with an internal PSU...

"would have been" as in the original 360, as per 2005 tech?

Doesn't matter which line it is. Internal brick wouldn't have had all that real estate to the case.

Edit. I forgot about the consoles melting inside from heat. I take that back

I've just got new (to me, at least) 360. My other one is chipped, so I've never really had the full 360 experience. Figure this is as good a place as any to ask these:

1) can I install games I have on disk to the hdd?

2) I bought Forza Horizon on my Bone a little while back, how do I get this on my 360?

1 . Not sure what you mean? If you have them on disk from a different chipped console....then no. Pay for your games.

2. If you bought the Bone version it won't work on 360. You can have a look at it on the 360 one in case the 2 are linked in most cases it isn't.

Can I copy a game to the HDD and run it from there, rather than needing to have the disk in the drive all the time?

As far as I'm aware, the original Horizon was 360 only? The Lego game I got on Games With Gold seems to have downloaded, Forza hasn't.

No, the game disc has to be in the drive to confirm you own it.

Not compatible then, you probably didn't buy the 360 enabled version and a coverted version for Bone only. Think there's a load of games like this.

Try looking at your download history for the 360 on the Xbox site. I have F1 2013 from an earlier Games with Gold, but the only way to get it on my console recently was via the download history. Everything gets added there even if you didn't download it to the 360, although if the game was never queued for a download, you might be out of luck.

I've gone to my download history on my phone and Horizon is listed there. I've tapped on "add to queue", I'll be interested to see if it now downloads when I next switch my 360 on.

How loud are old 360s, by the way? Like a plane taking off... Is there a way to make it quieter?
