Checking out what came out in March last year, it looks like Tunic, Guardians of the Galaxy, Far: Changing Tides and Norco will be leaving next month, so better get a start on any of those if you still want to.

Oh mna, I keep meaning to start this...it's going to go before I get chance isn't it :(

It's pretty short. Maybe a couple of chapters longer than needed but it's a straightforward romp with no real side quests so doable in an easy week. Even quicker if you dial down the difficulty but you'll either be in for the incessant banter or not.

Short?  It's a 20-hour game, easily.  (Edit - it took me just under 30 hours, according to the stats on my Game Pass profile.)

It is worth playing. It's fun, it's colourful, and it tells a good story.  The dialogue between the characters is frequently pretty funny, and the portrayal of a couple of the characters is deeper than any I've seen before, particularly Drax.  There's a lot of spectacle and entertainment along the way.  The combat can at times be a bit of a pain in the arse due to a combination of your reliance on your AI companions and enemies who's attacks make areas of the floor deadly.  Of course your fellow Guardians keep getting caught in them.  The game is trying to create these situations where a lot of crazy, spectacular action is going on at once and the Guardians are charging around chaotically, bantering and working together to win the day.  When it works, it's great, but sometimes it boils down to the player running around trying to resurrect their teammates while periodically getting interrupted or stunlocked.

I enjoyed it a lot, partly because you don't actually see very many of these linear story-heavy action games anymore.  I like a curated experience like this better than an open world, I think.

I wouldn't say easily, according to my profile it took just shy of 17 hours to complete. Although I will admit to turning the difficulty down to it's lowest setting about half way through as I thought the combat in it was pretty awful, and just wanted to get it over with.

OK, it's on the long side of short, I'll admit. :) I just mean it's not a game where you have to complete a million side quests or choose your loadout, etc.

There are actually some alternative paths in levels based on decisions you make but I wouldn't say that spoils a one-time playthrough.

Not as fussed about GoTG (30fps on Series S, gah), but if Tunic and Norco drop off Game Pass at the end of this month, then that is this month's gaming itinerary sorted.

Probably middle or end of next month. It's just speculation that they're going right now but most things are only on for twelve months so it's very likely.

I really wanted to play Tunic but it dropping off GP might be the perfect excuse for me to buy it for my Steam Deck instead. It seems like a game that's #perfect4deck

It is :)

Another call for giving Guardians a blast here. I loved the 7th gen feel of it and its simplicity, the banter between the characters and it looks really nice too.

Oh and Action Figure Chewie.

Yeah, I didn't like Tunic at all when I realised what it was asking of me, but I kind of suspect I didn't give it a fair chance.  Norco I've been really meaning to play.  I play games pretty slowly (twice as slow as @metallicfrodo for example :D) so I think Norco is my best bet to not get stranded halfway through like I did with Dragon Quest XI.

On console and in the mobile/desktop app, when viewing your achievements for a game there's a tab to show "stats" which always includes your playtime.

It sometimes also includes special in game stats if the developer implemented any. For example in Hi-Fi Rush you can see how many times you petted 808.

There's a remastered version of Skylines? The normal version has been on Gamepass for years.

Chuffed to play Shadow Warrior 3. Just in time for the next gen upgrade.

And Mount and Blade 2! All games I held off on as I thought "these will be on gamepass"

At least £150 saved this month alone.

I really disliked Guardian's. It's like a Gobots version of far, far better games that it's trying to ape -like Uncharted, or God of War (except with guns)- and the version of the superhero team here are a highly unlikeable bunch of cunts.

Thank you for reading my opinion on a videogame.

I dunno, saying it's worse than Uncharted or Ragnarok were pretty vicious too.

No, because these games are excellent especially if you have great taste. They are Optimus Prime and Megatron respectfully.

It is nothing like Uncharted or God of War.
