Deathloop?

They wouldn’t have been able to advertise it while it was still in the Sony deal, so they were bound to shout about it now.

That's precisely what I mean.
I would of imagined that the 1 year exclusivity would run it's course, then you're get a succession of announcement it's coming to Xbox and more trailers and promotion and a release date maybe next year. That whole very typical "promotion campaign".

I didn't expect it basically to be straight to gamepass via one tweet

But why would they want to artificially extend its exclusivity period? They want it out so they can say this costs £50 on PS5 and is free (with GP) on Xbox.

Them teasing and holding off something they own would be completely counter to this GP strategy with first party titles.

Added to that the way MS just drop stuff on GP as a suprise is part of its appeal to me. Any week can be a little like Christmas. A little new toy to play with or some massive.new adventure. No teasing shit for months.

You're writing this like I'm actually suggesting they did this!

No, I'm saying that I'm surprised they almost shadow dropped this onto Gamepass, I'd of expected just a wee bit more of a fanfair.

Also I see it's on PSN+ thingy at the same time!

The point is that they had no choice but to shadow drop this. Whilst exclusivity existed they couldn't say anything. Now they want it out.

I guess the odd bit you're angling at is they're not singing and dancing loudly about it. Where is the marketing blitz to tell the world.

I'm not angling anything, I literally don't care

You Suck at Parking is fucking amazing!!! It’s like some kind of long lost classic C-64 game. Sort of feels like something that might have come out on the Amiga too. Really cool and really clever idea. Proper pure, fun, skill based gameplay too. Gamepass is absolutely smashing it at the moment.

Really enjoying Fuga so far.

Turn based tank battles, relationships to build with the tank crew.  Growing crops in a tank and an interesting story so far. Only played an hour but yeah it's good.

This. What a game.

Bosses seems real easy. Just put doggo in cannon. Oh. Wait.

I've never played an AC game, would it be good place to start?

Yes, but then any of the most recent AC games will seem nowhere near as good.

It really is a great game.

One tip though, play as Kassandra rather than Alexios. I played as the male character and regretted it. There’s something off when playing as Alexios.

Yeah wasn’t sure about it at first, though it was a roguelike type thing and after an hour or so thought fuck this, runs are going to take forever. Once a realised it’s a straight RPG using some of those mechanics, and now having just completed Chapter 3 feel like I’m getting a grasp, well it’s rather lovely isn’t it. Not sure it’ll grab me for long but for now I’m quite enjoying it.

It’s the best of the Origins, Odyssey, Valhalla trilogy for sure. Slicker and better designed than Origins, and MUCH less boring than Valhalla. I platinumed it back on the PS4 and we’re it not for the sudden glut of Game Pass games in general I’d be tempted to play again in full 4K glory

Its great. Probably the least effort ever made in a war game to pretend that that bad guys are imaginary villains and not Nazis though, given that the enemies are dobermans in Wehrmacht uniforms referred to as the 'Bermans'.

My guess is that the developers got to a month before release before someone pointed out that a game where the intro story was basically 'Nazis murdering children' might be a tough sell, so they decided to stick furry ears onto everyone.

This is a lot of fun to play. It's dead easy and a good one for daily achievements, but genuinely funny through. It's like Monty Python the game, if Monty Python was ever funny.

This was worth installing just for the settings menu!

I’ve been playing a bit of You Suck at Parking. It’s decent enough single player, but the online has unacceptable lag at times

(I still haven't gotten around to finishing this yet - looked absolutely excellent, but I'm still early on and it's not a short game)

Crap, same. Dirty theme park attractions will have to wait to be cleaned.

Hmm, never got around to Subnautica: Below Zero, and I now I doubt I ever will. I'd read it wasn't as good as the first game, however.

I thought the campaign on this one was meant to be really short but it seems to be about the same length as the first according to HLTB. I think I'll give it a go anyway. Seems doable.

Follow a spoiler free walk-through and without trying to solve the puzzles, you'll be done quickly.

On reflection, it was a really poor sequel which completely lost the core components to what made the first so amazing. The first was so amazing because of the 3d scale, where something 100 metres away felt like an epic find. You could access almost everything from the start, but didn't have the oxygen or mobility to do so. The world felt huge and endless, even though it wasn't. Below zero lost that feeling and without it, it was an average survival game.
