That would need to be BC first... If they aren't even allowed to put it on BC due to licensing issues, there's simply no way they could possibly offer it through Xcloud.

Sadly :(

😟

I thought this would possibly be the case but as the Series consoles can emulate everything I dared to dream.

I literally just did it 2 minutes ago.

My top tip for the day - buy the 3 month codes from CDKeys, currently on offer for £7.99.

Add them one at a time, and turn on automatic billing, as bizarrely it will give you the month free for a 3 month code too.  Each time you redeem a code, turn back off the automatic billing, to get 4 months for each code.  Rinse and repeat 9 times (it takes a while, as CDKeys will only sell you 2 at a time, but it's worth it!)

I just stacked 3 years for £72 (slightly less actually, as you can use the code PAYPAL5 on one of the transactions, and I cashed in my "CD coins" on another), then upgrade the whole lot for £10.99 - so around £83 total and I am sorted until June 2025!

The three month codes I’m looking at on there is £6.49. Is that ‘wrong’?

Saw Limbo in the leaving soon section so decided to finally give that a go. Great wee game, finished it in a few hours which was nice. Some parts a bit tricky but never got too frustrating or took long to work out/successfully do. I loved how there was no tutorials, cutscenes or even defined levels/level select. Just throws you in from the start for you to figure out. Like the good old days before everything needed tutorials and on screen button prompts. Fuck that big creepy spider cunt though, gads man.

Just wanted to say thanks for this, followed all the steps and now sorted until 2025! :D:D

If my GPU hasn't run out yet then I should wait until it has to get it more cheaply than just 'topping up' my account now, right?

Yup, did the thing in the first post a few days ago, using rewards points. I waited until the day after it expired.

Is it on Gamepass and of similar length?

Doesn’t seem to be, but don’t let that put you off, it’s frequently on sale. It’s marginally longer than Limbo, but still very much in the ‘short game’ category.

I keep getting offered (and happily taking) a month for £1. Happens a couple of times a year. Scratches the itch I get to occasionally play something outside my half-dozen go-tos, but I am amused that I never seem to get locked out of the offer.

So this expired today, and um...

 Sure thing!

That's a good heads-up, I got halfway through The Last Stop and then, erm, stopped. Wouldn't mind seeing that through although I'll probably have to restart it as I've forgotten most of it

Same. I really should get it finished before it leaves.

Apologies for reposting this, but can someone just give me the thumbs up. My GP runs out in 3 days, so I could do with getting it sorted. Thanks!

My GP runs out in a few days, so am I right in thinking if I get 6 of these, that’ll stock me up for the next 3 years for ~£90 + £1/10.99?

Yep that should work. It’s a bargain too, I’m sure it used to be £40 for 12 months.

But obviously don’t redeem them until your GP has actually run out.

Nice one. Thanks.

Yup.

- let GP expire

- Get 3 years worth of Gold through whatever means is cheapest for you (cdkeys, rewards, blah)

- Sign up for GPU via $1 or $10.99 if available, you'll be charged that and then your next billing date is 3 years hence

Yep, perfect.

I just wanted to make sure those gold cards I linked to would do the trick. They look like the best deal at the moment.
