That's a hill I will die on. :coffee:

You'll die jumping up it, old fruit.

I'm fine with ten loadouts, it'll be plenty for most people's needs and we'll all still be using D2ArmorPicker and DIM anyway and at least this doesn't completely kill them off.

Cripes, they really are changing an awful lot for Lightfall aren't they? Be amazed if they make all that happen without a few things collapsing at launch.

I found a shotgun with incandescent to be highly effective for the invisible men on the mid-boss on Seraph's Shield. They can send as many waves as they like - once you get a few shots off, they're all going to burn.

Following the loadout manager hype, I went into DIM the other day and spent a bunch of time vaulting duplicates and redundancies (e.g, anything that serves a similar purpose to something else.) Feels good. ^_^

Except now I'm wondering if there are going to be Strand weapons that will upset my delicate balance in the near future. :D

Logged in after reset today, and had a lot of trimuphs suddenly complete. A few seemed to be requirements reduced. Some I don't recall actually doing though.

Already down for maintainence so maybe trying to fix this

Just don’t change anything ever. The vocals demand a change. They layer it on top of a system seven years old. The game can’t take it. Hilarity comes.

Was enjoying the minigame of how many Blues can I fit into my postmaster without it deleting my shards. Which was ever only a problem for min-maxing no-lifers anyway. Did get a 3rd character up to 1590 yesterday before the shuttering. They’ll roll that back, so probably have to spend another week doing gambit and strikes lol.

They said something like 4am sometime in PST I guess. Is wild tho, when a live service game doesn’t give you the service. I paid like £10 a season for this! If this was Netflix there would definitely be riots.

@BungieHelp: "Alongside this deployment, please note that all player accounts have been rolled back to 8:20 AM PST, January 24."

Due to the account rollback:

Players will have to redo progress or quests completed between 8:20-11 AM PST.

Eververse purchases will need to be redone. Silver spent during that time will be restored.

Silver bundle purchases will be added back to player accounts.

Additionally, some enemies may continue to drop Rare (blue) engrams when players reach the soft cap. This will be resolved in a future update.

Told you!

The Deterministic Chaos gimmick sounds fun. I still keep Polaris Lance because it has the Perfect Fifth thing, and I enjoy stuff like "planning ahead" with my shots. :)

I am really enjoying the new "you can buy the red bar focussed weapons every day" regime. Will it be enough to encourage me into Ketchcrash/Expedition to grind the Tarnished Mettle?

Do Wellspring and Dares disappear when Lightfall come out? I might look to see if there's anything there I want.

I think the game's overdue a mix-up, so I don't mind if Linears take a hit. We're at a point now where there's a few things that just don't really change. There's no reason (other than boredom) for a Titan to every do anything other than a Solar/Loreley build (except in the few cases where you really want Thundercrash,) LFRs are the boss kilers for virtually every boss (except a few where you use Lament,) elemental-triggering SMGs are viable in almost every activity and so on.

Wait what?

As of this week's hotfix, the red border weapons at the various HELM vendors can all be bought once per day, not once per week. So if you've got the relevant Umbral Energy, it's bonanza time.

Managed to get 2 x red border Forbearance last night. That thing is just a red bar delete button but I really need it with ambitious assassin and chain reaction.

Rhulk is a relatively quick and painless boss fight to try and get that raid exotic too. Think it’s farmable next week.

I've got most of what I want already but I only played the Witch Queen campaign when it came out, didn't do any seasonal stuff until Plunder. So I'm doing a bit of the Leviathan activity with the forgettable name as the weapons are great. Got Beloved and the bow already, almost there with Drang which I absolutely love in Crucible, might get an Austringer and Calus Mini Tool while I'm at it. Oh and maybe Bump In The Night as rockets sound like they're going to be pretty dominant in Lightfall and it rolls with Chill Clip.

Really like this little change since all those activities are going away in a few weeks. Does lay bare just how stingy the one red border a week thing is, though. I'd much prefer to spend the first two or three weeks crafting the guns I want and the rest of the season levelling them, but I understand why they'd do it that way.

I realise I'm a broken record here but if anyone is yet to get Tarnished Mettle from Plunder, or the Ikelos SMG from this season, and plays on an Arc subclass then do get it done. Voltshot is bonkers and I love it.

Elsewhere I am playing Iron Banner again, and regretting it. Mostly doing it for the golf ball as vendors are pretty much my option, and also for Crucible Engrams for Riptide which sounds like it's going to be nuts in Lightfall. Chill Clip / Auto-Loading Holster is the roll, haven't seen either of the fuckers yet and I must have sharded a dozen by this point.

Prioritise the Mini-Tool and Bump In The Night over Austringer, I reckon. The Mini-Tool with Incandescent is even more fun than a Voltshot Ikelos.
