I came to Destiny 2 from Fallout 76, so thought it could only be more stable. For the most part it is, but then you hear things which make you realise its engine has become a beast of burden - such as Bungie saying that having a wheel to choose from more than four different emoticons would be too much for the game. Not quite as bad as FO76’s devs saying the game couldn’t support more hairstyles, but it’s up there. 
 

Frustratingly (as I say this as someone who’s only just bought into Destiny 2) they don’t seem to have any plans for a third game in the series, and just want to keep updating D2 despite it struggling in places now. Maybe Sony can give them a kick up the arse.

There's always plenty of buys in the quests, and recently there seems to be pretty poor QA on the UI as I seem to get a new issue every update, but always found the graphics/gameplay impressively stable.

 

I've been playing a lot of Gambit to get the final challenge I need for the season. The recent changes they did have resulted in the best gambit has been but they really didn't go far enough. I know they have limited resources and will concentrate on seasonal content but both Gambit and Crucible need refreshing. It would never happen but I'd take a season that's just some new maps for both and maybe a strike or something. Failing that maybe they could fix the motes falling through the floor and being unobtainable...

You can usually buy the seasonal cosmetics after the season ends for bright dust / silver can't you? I would be tempted to just pay for them if you really want them, rather than bang out sixty levels in eight days.

Right, my other characters are like 1350 so I'm not sure how viable grinding them is, especially as I'd need to get them gear seeing as you don't get it from the season pass any more.

 

If they're available for real money after then that takes the edge off it, but I must say seeing as Sea of Thieves is pointless solo, Dead By Daylights queue times are insufferable and Cult of the Lamb needs a serious update to stamp bugs out grinding the living fuck out of Destiny just to see if I can make it sounds like a 'fun' alternative.

I’ve never seen the season pass ornaments in the store. Think it’s a grind la grind time. Getting to 100 in a week is doable tho, seen people do it at the cost of a life. Try get in a fireteam with someone who’s maxed the pass when you cash in the bounties and quests for a big xp boost (32%?) and do Gambit a few times as there’s at least 4 seasonal quests you can bang out simultaneously (same with the castellum). All this for a skull hat.

Assuming the chest piece is in Eververse tomorrow, all of the Solar 3.0 ornaments have been in the Store this season, and I'm pretty sure that was also true last season for Void as well, at least.

 

EDIT: Oh yeah, but not the season pass ones.

Doing your second and third characters is really easy once the first one is at 1560 as you can give them weapons that mean each armour drop goes up by 30 at a time. I got my alts up to even level with my Hunter really quickly.

I'm going to get past the first story missions with my titan and see if that helps any.

I just saw a guy who is season level 1200?! How is that even possible? 
 

I’ve veered off my deadeye quest for now, mainly because there’s a few medals on there that are an absolute nightmare. Grinding out the crucible kills, even the headshots, is doable, but the medal for three precision bow kills in one life and for killing someone’s with another weapon then switching to the sidearm to kill someone else immediately seem insane.

Nice, Counter-Strike flashbangs are back 🙃 In that game the whiteout effect was pretty much a “guess I’ll die” moment for me…
