Oof, moving pursuits to the map screen is going to throw me off a bit...

I really like the new location but showing one line previews doesn't seem that useful. I have to hover over to read anything useful so it is just wasting space and making it more pages.

One of my top wishes is that these menus loaded faster. I have a bit of a problem with opening it way too often.

Even though the first thing you have to do is just "get some kills" the start of a new season feels more fun even though I'm doing the same strike as yesterday. Nessus is packed with everyone rushing to kill the same cabal.

Is the first rune the same for everyone? Mine is:

Roll guaranteed to be a sub-machine gun

Menagerie seems fun. Little raid-lite mechanics with, at the moment at least, challenging enemies. Not really looked at the chalice and rune stuff yet but looks like a cool little mini game on top.

Pro-tip - Leviathan raid armour perks work in there so worth pulling them out of the vault.

The Positivity Club will welcome you all with open arms. And with those base game humble bundle codes we keep offering out because they're worth bob all.

Come home, lads. @Oz misses you.

Can you fail the Menagerie? With randoms I got to the end and some loot, but it seemed like we failed every encounter.

Spoiler

There's no fail state - it just takes longer to do, and later phases on the boss are tougher. It's very possible you can get in a situation you can't beat it and you have to quit, but that's about it.

Also, beating the games gets you triumphs and a buttload of imperials, so that's really the reward for 'winning'.

It sort of feels like you've answered your own question there, to be honest.

Can never fail the ménage à six. If you’re terro it just takes longer. If you’re good or have a secret Whisper, then you can rinse through and not have as many rooms to sort out. Think it’s pretty cool so far. Nice and chill. Bet the drama comes from the Heroic version

Only ran through twice and the first time was matchmaking and it was like yeah, we were doing ok, supers everywhere, then the level 740s come along and wiped the floor. You are right though,  that it didn’t feel like a win when we got to the end.

Also was told to go for the cheapest upgrade ASAP as that’ll opens up a lot for you to play with.

Funny if it ends up being Xbox and PC only.

I can't see that happening - the Destiny API already handles multiple accounts quite handily (See Destiny Item Manager and Braytech), making the game call an API account in a way that's format agnostic is just the next step.

It will be interesting to see how they handle multiple accounts held by one person, mind.

Was stuck on trying to figure out what to do to upgrade the chalice.  Turns out it’s the circles at the bottom is the first one you can get quickly.  Also in case you don’t know, cash in any Menagerie triumphs in the book for more mint imperials. I was running bounties for a paltry 150 when those triumphs give out 500 a pop.

That contains vanilla, Osiris and Warmind, plus the big Forsaken expansion.

What it doesn't contain is the annual pass stuff, so that's the three mini-drops from last Winter on: Black Armoury, Drifter, and the new one, Season of Opulence. There's plenty in the Forsaken collection, and Forsaken itself is great (and the best bit of D2 so far, with the best raid) but it's not everything. You'd need to buy the annual pass on top for that, but maybe just get Forsaken first - it'll last you a long old while if you do everything - and see how you feel after that.
