So last night I got bored popped on my triple jump and Stompees and went to check out the easy to get secret chest in the raid.

 

It was fun exploring the place and found the chest where I got a purple chestpiece but the fun part was exploring and trying to see what it looks like. Damn pretty.

Well, you dont need to do that to get lucky with the drops being high and in the slots you need though. I've had 3 on a few occasions now. Them being T3's (can give you up to 600 power drops) is still a bit daft, especially with them being random when they drop, as some people can only play a few hours a night.

 

Ironically the best place to get them is in Osiris strikes, inside the infinite forest, as there are loads of orange bar enemies, but randos keep wanting to speed run that bit of those strikes (and strikes in general really), thus missing out on killing those for the chance of a prime.

New exotic quests spoiler:

Wow, Mara Sov's throne world in The Shattered Throne quest for the exotic bow Wish-Ender is stunning and absolutely nails hard. I stumbled upon it completely by accident when I was searching for ascendant chests in The Confluence. After inching my way round and picking them off one by one for about an hour I managed to get to the final yellow-bar in the dungeon and then slipped off a fucking ledge! :facepalm: 

 

I'm 375 575 but even at that power level it's very difficult solo. Having looked at what the score is and how much more there is to do after I'm gonna give it a go with a fireteam tomorrow.

 

There's also apparently an exotic quest randomly dropping in Gambit when you summon a primeval.

 

 

They've done an amazing job of keeping the secrets and discoveries coming each week. THIS is exactly the kind of stuff that Destiny needed and was bizarrely lacking from the vanilla game.

So Breakpoint isn't what I expected.

I thought it was going to be as "Escort" thing like the modes in Overwatch/Battlefront...instead it's just a modified version of control?

Only played one game last night but really wasn't impressed. Seemed to heavily favour camping/sniping given there's only one or two routes - and defenders will have shorter runs.

There's an absolutely amazing 'hidden' mission findable in the Dreaming City. No idea if that's what people's spoilers are about, as I haven't been reading them. But it is truly challenging - just top form Destiny. We didn't quite beat the final encounter, being under-levelled and all, but it's so long you get checkpoints, like a raid, so hopefully if we bump up a bit we'll be back later in the week to tackle the last bit again. Or if not, I guess in three weeks' time.

 

It's fucking brilliant though.

I've no idea if that's what we were talking about - I only know the power level of something upset people (I hate the internet)

 

Had enough fun last night doing new mission and the well. (Also got a Bygones to drop with Outlaw and Kill Clip. With my Rifle Loader Arms it's beastly)

It's great that there have been so many secrets and hidden missions and rewards that the thread's littered with spoiler tags and oblique references. It's been a great expansion, just layers upon layers of varied activities and new content for four solid weeks.

Random rolls people, I told you during the ‘troubles’ how important they were to the game and combined with random masterworks perks makes the game a million times more interesting.

 

I mean they did some other stuff too..... loving Destiny again feels good, I’m going to write to Bungo with my demands for Destiny 3 nice and early so we can avoid the mistakes again.
