I'm still umming and ahhing over buying Forsaken.

 

I played this last night, and was really enjoying having a sniper rifle back in the special slot. Midnight Coup is also a fucking beast, I love hand cannons. 

 

But then I did something a little out of the ordinary. While in party chat last night the topic of Destiny 1 came up. So I fired that up, and two others joined me for a couple of strikes. 

 

You know what? Some QoL issues aside, Destiny 1 is the better game. You move quicker, aiming is snappier, the environments are more interesting, as is the level design. The "feel" of it is better. 

 

So now I'm thinking, why throw more money at bungie when their product is clearly inferior? I bought Destiny 1 three times: original release, Taken king, and then digitally. I don't regret that at all. Destiny 2 ... I'm still sore from buying the season pass. :(

I picked this up last night, I missed the last DLC as I was moving house, so I'm ploughing through that and enjoying it (apart from the big snake, which I'm stuck at).

 

Do all of us who paid £80 on launch need to also buy Foresaken? I mean, I will, just checking.

 

Time to reassemble the Tuesday night raid team..?

The tooltip probably shouldn't say 'patrol Mars' really, should it.

 

Worth doing the Flashpoint on all three characters though, if you have them (and the time) since it gets you legendary Y2 armour with the new perks. My Titan got arms with auto rifle loader and double ammo pickup with grenade launchers or swords, which means I'm probably doing nasty things with Positive Outlook and The Colony later on.

It seems they turned SBMM on by accident. Dmg04 is looking into it, but it is by accident, and not intended. Its resulting in longer queue times, more lag and sweaty games.

Titan one looks fine, but those helmets on the other 2 classes.....and wtf is up with that colour scheme for the Hunter?!?

Nor played any of the Destiny games so just started 2 on the freebie from PSN and it's a fun blast. I presume I just work through the campaign and the other stuff becomes apparent at some point? And it's all a shared world I guess, have seen other players in my campaign. Huge Halo vibes from the start, love the feel of it. Instead of doing all the crap I usually do before I play an MMO (reading about classes, gear, skills etc) I've just decided to jump in and see how it goes. But nice start, not found a shooter I have really got on with for a while, so this is fun. Compared to the hour I spent on the free CoD PSN game, this is in another category.

Warlock needs to put 10p in the "meter" or it cant perform :P

 

Titans are lame, goalkeepers as we know, hence Bungo has been trying for years to make them OP so that somebody (anyone?) could pick them and actually mean it.

 

I mean you only have to look at the hidden words within the titles to know the true meaning..
