I'm really looking forward to it. I enjoyed Curse of Osiris - those new strikes were fucking stellar - so I expect this to be even better with all the sandbox changes and exotic buffs.

I'll be back for the story, strike stuff, Mars lost sectors (I hope Mars has lost sectors), Escalation Protocol... and I co-op with my brother from time to time, so hopefully I can talk him into joining me. :)

I’m gonna jump back in. Haven’t touched for months and months and having a look right now. Everyone else is maxed up to the eyeballs in Masterworks armour and have no idea what guns are even cool anymore or even what I’m supposed to be doing. This game is like a rubbish ex and soon enough will remember the reason they were ghosted in the first place. In the meantime, add me up on @mikeylrocks

Nah, reckon there will be a few around, me included. I thought I was done with Destiny but I came back for 6v6 classic Iron Banner, jumped back in to be milestones and then this week, farmed the nightfall about 10 times for the exclusive AR. So yeah, apparently hooked again. Fuck. 

 

Totally understand those who have checked out completely, Bungie did fuck up but I just can’t help myself, it still feels so good just shooting stuff. 

 

They still need to fix a ton of stuff but if the word on the street is to be believed what they have planned should sort a lot of the issues. YMMV of course, depending on how angry you get about video games.

I saw my Warlock through to the end on the PC version today and ended at level 22 so hopefully he’s high enough to go straight into the new DLC. There’s no way I’m going back to the PS4 version, even though I have a fully levelled Titan and Hunter on there that are kitted out with pretty much everything I want. I’m an imbecile that has now bought the DLC on two different formats but I don’t care. It runs so damn well at 60+ fps on PC.

If it makes you feel slightly less worse, I think basically everyone in the PosClub is in the same situation.

 

But that last sentence is worth every penny most pennies some pennies.

I didn't think that was a problem, to be honest. Is light/power meaningless? It makes your weapons more powerful, and lets you soak up more damage. The smart loot system did away with the last remnants of the more opaque system from D1.

I'm looking forward to giving this a playthrough tonight. I like Mars. I like the Hive. I don't normally like ice worlds but Destiny doesn't really have them so it'll be a novelty. Of course I'm not expecting to be compelled to play after I finish this new slice of plot or buy any loot crates (Really Bungie? New ones? Did you not get the EA memo?)

The update installer should begin now when you start the game (on PS4 anyway.)

 

What emotes are people going to bind? At the moment I'm thinking of going for salute (when a friend joins the session), point (when I want to indicate something), "woah there" (when I'm busy fiddling with my inventory) and a spare slot for my goofier purples and yellows...

Wait.  You can bind emotes to all four directions now?
