Made it, titan at 281 and even got the crappy emblem off Saladin. Now to read up on what I'm supposed to do now level wise. Had an amazing run of iron banner where I seemed to turn in to a killing machine on the winning side. My excuse is that it must have been school kids on the West coast time. :lol:

 

Anyway, looking forward to more of everything.  :)

Started a Titan (the best ones). But infuriated by the lack of fashion options available to me right now. It’s all massive shoulder pads and trousers that make my arse look too big. Coupled with the garish new-money shiny shaders and I look like I’m in an episode of Dynasty starring the extras from a Vanilla Ice music video. So yeah, show us your tasteful minimalist Titans.

It really isnt. Its every other topic on Bungies forum, reddit has been talking about it for a while now too. I had trouble getting an Iron Banner match the other day, and when it did pop it was usually 3v3. Also had a match with a level 9 on my team and a level 7 on the enemy team too, which was odd.

 

The funny thing about that destinytracker.com is that the numbers include Destiny 1 players as well. And there are a fair few people still playing that game (no idea about numbers, but Gorf and I played last week, and the tower was pretty full).

Yep. We have only had one raid attempt and this evening no one at all joined on me for the weekly. Even I’m bored.

 

Logging off now. Rather, logging into Stardew Valley.

 

 

I intend to watch the worlds first attempt on the prestige raid though, just so I can see past the dogs. Is that tomorrow?

I have kind of got to the same stage in this as I did in Destiny 1. I really enjoyed the campaign, and have done all the single player content I think. I don't really enjoy PVP, my reaction times are crap now lol. I have a mate that I occasionally hop on and do stuff together, but I think I have got a bit bored of what is on offer now. I am currently light level 280.

 

 I noticed there was an option to do the raids through a matchmaking option? I have never been in one before, it says they are guided by other players? What are these like? I do have a fair amount of time to dedicate on a night at the moment as well.

In a nut shell: there has been large drop off last two weeks (after most people have played more than 200 hours). everyone thinks the game is great and plays well. most people don't really like crucible (mainly @Jerec and @Shimmyhill). some are disappointed with exotics and generally the fact that weapons don't stand out enough. @Gorf King does not like the 'end game' progression and rewards. people enjoyed the campaign but the humor does not hit for everyone nor does the voice acting. the main nemesis is good but some people did not like the end very much. the raid is not the best one but it is very enjoyable. and @Captain LeChuck is disappointed with the story elements of the raid.

I think I would of prefered a more linear single player mode, as it was open world I never finished more than halve the story mission flag things, nor have I really bothered with any strikes mainly because I'd levelled up too fast and there was no point in doing them!

 

I think if the game had kept us following set route and levelling us up at set times I'd of enjoyed the SP more I think.

 

Then one thats all done with, we are allowed off the leash and can run around and play with our chums.
