I think they know they've done goofed with the end game, and may push "something" out to fix some of the issues along with some PvP addition/s.

The 1st expansion is Osiris themed, but could mean the return of a certain Exo that just vanished, as before the original game was released she was supposed to be Osiris' assistant.

Also, I dont think the 2nd expansion will include Rasputin , but likely the one on IO, hence why the planet feels a bit like an afterthought, as it'll likely have a bunch of extra content added for that planet, along with whatever end game stuff.

Every paid expansion will be set in a new location.

Remember the road map during the first week of Destiny?

'Great!' we all thought, they have a good content plan going forward. It was the one and only road map we ever got.

Queens Wrath - 200 Fallen headshots bounty. Two hundred.

I hope they fix the faction token farming before it rolls around again, I was Public Eventing on Io the night before reset. Loads of people appeared in my feed as being nearby, but they were seemingly all off to lost sectors boring themselves shitless.

I bought the Shaxx Funko Pop (which is awesome) and it came with an emblem, was there stuff like that tied to the Bungie store in the first game? I feel like this one has been pretty stingy with emblems, it’s kind of annoying seeing them tied to stuff like that.

I dunno, I've got 50-odd, which seems a pretty reasonable selection in a vanilla game, given that there are other sets which I'll never get any of at all (Trials etc, or stuff tied to Funko Pops if they have stuff like that). Doesn't seem more stingy than vanilla Destiny - or at least, there aren't a lot of really ropey ones done in MS Paint, which I always felt was the category a lot of D1's fell into.

What I'd like to see more of are clan banner elements. I suspect if clans do lots of guided games and get positive feedback they'll probably end up making extra banner elements and staves part of the reward package.

The main complaint I have is that there's not enough variety in armour sets. Both aesthetically and functionally. They really do need to improve the mod system, enable you to deviate a lot further from the norm. But then, 'balancing'.

I do hope they sort the instance matchmaking. A busy public event is one of the best feelings in the game; a solo one is one of the worst.

Prffft, do you even hunter!? I did a heroic glimmer drop one solo earlier and it was great fun, thingy shoes ftw!

(I tend to fast travel to find a full one but glimmer drops are easy to solo as is the EDZ Servator one near the home area)

Yeah those are fine. The cabal ones less so and don't even get me started on the Taken blight one, which I always seem to be on my tod for.

Just kill everything as normal, then take out the last main blight using Wardcliff after dipping into a sub-blight (if you try to take out the main blight in the first spawn it takes 4 Wardcliff shots, and the second one takes two, but the third one only takes one shot). Admittedly the big guy can be a bit of a bugger to kill, but hey. At least you get as many rewards for failing the heroic as you do for succeeding in the normal, as long as you trigger it.

Orbit and changing planet between public events usually gives multiple guardians spawning at the timer countdown location.

Nah, no need to orbit. If I'm on my own for a public event (very rare for me) I just fast travel to the same place again and most of the time I'm with other guardians. I think an important part of that is making sure your network is good https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Troubleshoot?oid=13610 as this really dictates how quickly you get matched with others in public spaces.

Another tip is to fast travel again to the same location once you get the loot and double or even triple dip the same public event if you are fast enough at completing it.

Oh man, that’s a game changer. Any tips for the injection rig one? I can barely get that to go heroic with a group of people around, nobody else seems to know how.

Waited 40 minutes for a guided game Nightfall only for them to leave immediately when I found some guides. Got paired with the same two on three occasions only for them to leave immediately. Maybe because I'm only 246 but that seems crappy on their part.

Meanwhile my clan seems to be having issues. All the regulars tried to make their own clan and when that failed miserably couldn't get back into the main one. And we've got like 10+ Xbox players in there when there's another Xbox clan that's been set up for them.

edit: Had a different couple of guides also bugger off. I was only 10 light lower than them.

I'm out. Just posted this to an ebay buyer.

Loved what I played, but the "must make the numbers go up" nature of the gameplay is not for me and my fragile mental health. It's an absolute work of genius in the way it psychologically grips players though, it's like that game in Star Trek TNG! It's dangerous!

I've had my 30 quids worth but I do want to see if I can get into the endgame - Nightfalls and Raids with a team, etc. Have asked to join the Renegades so will see if I can level up to whatever level I need to be and then take a crack at playing with others.

I'm just waiting 'til 250 then I'm going to cash in everything and hopefully it'll take me close to 265.

edit: I'm 256 now. Got an exotic out of the crucible which helped a fair bit. Cashed in some tokens but don't have time to do a full tour of the system just to cash in some coins. Once that's done I'll open my powerful engrams.

Try spamming some heroic public events to get you to 265 before opening those powerful engrams, should'nt take too long and will boost you past 265 much quicker.

I've continued in my quest to ignore all advice on getting the best out of engrams and just punch shit and get whatever I can whenever I can. Bumped up to 271 now - mainly by doing 2 weapon quests and chasing milestones. It keeps the game varied as well; I'm jumping between public events, patrols, missions and crucible and never getting bored (doing well in Crucible as well!).

Loving it.
