Forgot it was maintenance from 4 to 8 today. For some reason I assumed short maintenance would finisher earlier, but nope they just started later...

Just jumped on. I think my Powerful Engram decrypted to something rubbish, unfortunately. I think I’m just going to open them myself before the weekly reset in future.

 

A few questions:

1. What do I do with my glimmer? It’s full and as far as I can tell no one is selling anything useful to me.
2. What do orbs of light do? I’m guessing picking them up increases your super charge but they always seem to drop after my super is already charged.
3. The things like the flashpoint are properly weekly, right? If I don’t finish the EDZ one today it isn’t suddenly going to reset to Io for tomorrow? i.e. I can do it however I like over the course of the week?
4. In Strikes, I seem to run out of Kinetic ammo and none seems to drop. What am I doing wrong?

2. They charge your super. Sometimes an armour piece may offer an additional benefit when equipped. They drop from enemies killed by other players' supers, as well as your own (but you never see the ones you generate).

 

3. Yep, they're weekly. You have until 10am Tuesday of each week to get all milestones done before they reset. Any you have completed but have not handed in will auto-hand-in for you upon the weekly reset.

 

4. Not using your energy weapon enough. Switch to it every so often (a good scout or auto rifle) and you should see primary ammo drop again.

 

 

I'd say to keep buying mods for this, then you're not "wasting" glimmer pickups by being full. Just 10k's worth when you're full or something, don't spend all of it!

I thought I was only supposed to use the energy weapon as a backup or on people with energy shields. Will try to make more use of them.

Will chuck some glimmer on some mods, too.

What's the best way to farm glimmer? Painting your ships and buying treasure maps is so expensive!

It is 15 to 30 minutes doing something fun in Destiny 2. Worth it.

God, it's like discussing the raid! If I wanted to figure things out myself I wouldn't be playing a game where 99% of the tasks I'm set are following a big arrow.

Exotic / Legendary engrams, Cayde specific legendaries, faction weapons.

 

If you're getting nothing you're probably falling victim to the chest lockout timer.

Yeah, certainly once or twice. I've made a Cayde chest my first port of call on a planet though and still got nowt but a token. It's either bugged or I'm incredibly unlucky. Possibly both!

To be fair to Brian, it's all over Twitter than when logging back in players have full raid gear sets or no characters data at all.

It's pretty similar to Does Not Compute. It's ok, nothing to get too excited about.

So I just bought the Faction Rally weapon for 1000 glimmer. And then accidentally bought another for 50K.
