I think this is the first time I've wanted to see what @NEGhas to say about something.

Still hyped for Jim Carrey as Robotnik, which will automatically make it better then any other game to movie adaptation by default.

Tim Miller: "Sonic' s normal look wouldn't work in the *real* world." (Paraphrased).

Me, a cynic who spent too long in the Sonic fandom: "Translation. That bit in Sonic 06 where the Princess kissed him would have been hotter is she ran her fingers over his fur & sinewy muscles."

Since when was Sonic *furry*?!

I've always naturally assumed that since real hedgehogs have spines, those blue spikes on Sonic are just stylized spines...

I don't think this can be stated enough. Hedgehogs aren't furry.

An actual physical hedgehog in the real world which is a real creature.

It is a real creature that is not furry.

At first I was like: oh my god wtf my eyes.

But then I was like: absolutely yes.

It’s basically a retelling of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles but with a hedgehog, right? Totally down for that, and a hairy, muscular blue hedgehog. Bring it on.
