The best compilation album of all time?

It's certainly up there as a great best of.

Is yours an original/early pressing? It (the sleeve at least) looks in much better condition than my 1973 copy.

@Agent L Yes, it’s a 1973 copy, I bought it via Discogs a few weeks ago for £12 to go with my* 1973 red album which is in much worse shape. I got a real bargain I think!

*acquired from my Dad, who I think got it from a jumble sale...

I think the price is fairly standard as there are probably still millions floating around. It sold so many it's barely believable.

My copy is from my Dad too! Maybe I should pick up a red album to go with it? That's not so much the era of Beatles I'm into though.

Scotch are the class clowns of Italo, who spent the whole time pissing about and yet somehow made a handful of absolute bangers with a Jupiter 8 and every production gimmick they could muster in '84. I love 'em.

I’m starting to think it might be my favourite Roxy Music...obviously LITD is peerless, but it’s really side 2 where it gets really special I think.

I’ve got a whole heap of their stuff on vinyl I’m mooching through:
