Oh Danny Boy

What is spinning on your turntable?

Was a bit thrown by the 'Encore' in the title of this, but turns out it's just the Japanese version of Switched-On Bach II. Couldn't resist that cover!

I'm going to get a record player - budget is limited. (£100 or so) Recommedstions?

Try and find a used one. You aren't in South East London are you? I'm selling a decent one for about that.

I love Dandy Livingston, but much like any other artist of this type, once you hit a certain date, the sound changes and looses it's appeal for me.  I really have tried, but if it's not Trojan era it's just not happening...

Such a magical vibe on that record

I get what you're saying

I've just bought a pioneers record, long shot. Original release 67 I think.

I bought an 80's repress, it's on Trojan and mono, I'm excited.

I get what you're saying, and agree, I don't know more than 2 dandy Livingstone records...

I've played others on YouTube, but, I'm trying to keep it more of a surprise for when I get the record.

I usually take a chance, purchase, then read...it don't always work out.

I discover more music passed than present

I still have modern faves, Brmc and Spiritualized are favourites :)
