the tv games been fantastic so far this weekend, 1-3, 1-5 and now 4-3

sure Utd will stink that run up but been a great weekend

that liverpool keeper really isn't any better than Mignolet is he, comes to something when Boruc isn't the worst keeper in a premier league game

That one he carried over the line this afternoon is the closest Goal Line Tech. decision I've ever seen.

Chelsea. Not only lucky but scummy as ever.

Considering the way Luiz smashed Aguero out early on, which was a red card for him - I'm not surprised Aguero got fucked off with it.

You've been taken out of the game and then you lose? I'd be pissed.

Then fabregas slaps fernandinho in the face and sits back and pretends he's done nothing?

It seems that despite any manager they bring in they really are absolute scum.

Does anyone else not think Luiz on Aguero was a 50/50 shoulder to shoulder and Luiz had more strength? Not even a card for me. Comparing that to what Aguero or Rojo did with that two footed lunge is laughable.

I thought a 50/50 tussle is generally when 2 players are at a similar speed hustling for the ball, not when 1 is clearly running past at speed. A red is debatable due to the 'clear goal scoring chance' rule but it's clearly a foul, i'm not sure how anyone apart from a Chelsea fan can see it any other way?

Not if you're me. We've scored one in four games and we've hit a massive dip in form considering we were top of League 2 by a very big margin (we've dropped to 3rd recently) so I'm not hopeful we can win a replay at Newport. We played them on Saturday and couldn't score. They had ten men for most of the game. If we can get through this one though, we're looking at a good £250-300k at least.

Never a red for Luiz but certainly obstruction.

Incredible scenes down here in Bournemouth on Sunday. People just couldn't believe it! First time beating Liverpool too, joyous!

Leicester cannot win without Okazaki and Kante. Kante cut the passing lanes and Okazaki applied the pressure on opponent's defence. Kante wasn't replaced and Okazaki dropped for a marquee(sp) signing.

Hey! Who wants to see 48 teams at the World Cup, with 16 groups of 3 teams, where the top 2 from the group progress to the last 32?

Gianni Infantino does! Finally, a FIFA president who listens to what the fans have been demanding all these years!

http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/38243334

Imagine the logistics cost for 48 teams would be too high for most nations to afford, and while advertising revenue is obviously something FIFA wants to milk even more, they're just diluting their own product. Guess there would be an uplift in the value of TV rights in nations that have never / rarely qualified before, but is that going to be a long-term benefit or just a short-term gain? Also, while the idea of expanding the competition allows more teams to compete, it sort of forgets that every team has the right to qualify to reach the finals anyway. FIFA might want to look at the seedings and route to the finals to make them more balanced before meddling further with the end tournament.

Plus - 3 team groups are nonsense.

One team in each group gets a big advantage as they'll play game 1 and 3 meaning they get a rest when game 2 is being played while the other two teams play back to back games.

And then the team playing the first two games could end up knocked out before game 3 takes place (which happens now but they at least get to play another group game) or having to sit on the sidelines with the other two teams knowing what they need to do to qualify.

Plus travelling fans only get 2 guarenteed games.

You'd get a situation where the two teams playing the third game in the group know that if they play out a draw, both will qualify at the expense of the third team in the group who aren't playing. Strange that FIFA would create something so open to manipulation and corruption.

Antonio Conte has won manager of the month for the second consecutive month, Amazingly that's the same amount as Jose Mourinho managed in his Seven years with the club.

Chelsea-Receive-Monthly-Premier-League-A

According to here

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Premier_League_Manager_of_the_Month#2015.E2.80.9316

Mourinho won it 3 times, twice in 2004 and another in 2007. Though it does show that despite Mourinho's success, he's not had the team firing as much as Ancelotti and Conte, except in the first few months of the 2014 season. I don't know how he didn't win it then, that was the time of Fabregas' brilliance, and the team being allowed free reign by Mourinho, which ended after Spurs battered them in the new year. Monk, Alladyce, Koemon and Pardew won it during those months of Chelsea dominance, like they were looking for any other deserving winner over him. Mourinho won it twice in 2004 with Martin Hol winning it between, so only Conte and Ancelotti won it consecutively. Ranieri, Grant, even Benitez also won it with Chelsea too. Ancelotti nabbed four in total.
