I really liked the original. I think it's a great little game. Or not so little, it has tonnes of single player content. I know hardcore fighting fans didn't like it, but I found it loads of fun.

That's quite the graphical upgrade. It looks like the fighting game 13 year old me would come up with 'and then you punch them into the sky and a jet shoots them'

 

Looks great fun and being netherealm it'll have a shit ton of content. I'm in.

Instead he looks like he works at pound bakery. 

 

Liking the way Darkseid fights with his hands behind his back constantly. Very fitting. Seems the art style for Darkseid and Brainiac is moving closer to that of Kingdom Come too which I like. :)

That vid is pretty awful, it's a bit odd when he talks about how idle animations should be really slight and boring and all characters should be standing up straight rather than in different poses, when that's one of the main things that gives fighting games characters character.

Shave? That's not what he's saying, at all. He says that tense, slight motions are only one end of the spectrum, and later gives several examples of different poses and how they can convey fighter personality.

£35.85 from Base, but no way is that arriving on time.  I was going to download the US version on Tuesday but as you said the pricing is ridiculous :(

I used a 10 quid off 50 quid spend voucher on Amazon. The other thing I ordered came ages ago, though so exactly how much I'll end up paying for this is anyone's guess (I think they split the tenner proportionally between the two items).

Same. Picked the last one up in the steam sale 'complete edition'. Will be doing the same here. Not paying £60 for the privilege of playing as characters that should already be in the game. It's fucking ridiculous.
