This week! Utter shite! (EDIT 6/6: EXCEPT FOR THE SALE!!)

From Nintendolife (spoilered because it's mostly shite):

Spoiler

Wii U eShop

B3 Game Expo for Bees (Createasaurus, €7.99 / £7.99) - A rather surprising first-person shooter that's heading exclusively to the Wii U, it's certainly aiming to be quirky by playing up its parody links to E3 while also trying to use the GamePad in a good way. It promises zaniness and humour, and will hopefully be a fun game to play at the same time; we'll see whether it's worth any buzz in our review.

Sanatory Hallways (Wegenbartho, €9.99 / £8.99) - Previously listed in August last year, it's likely popped up due to a release in some new countries. In any case, we didn't think much of it in our review.

Wii U Retail Downloads

Terraria (505 Games, €19.99 / £17.99) - Available on the 3DS for a while, this finally makes its way to Nintendo's home console, with bigger environments one of the expected pay-offs. The GamePad touch screen will be supported, while multiple online multiplayer features have been touted. We'll dig into this for a review.

The Book of Unwritten Tales 2 (Nordic Games, €19.99 / £17.99) - This one saw its release date move around a little on Wii U, but is finally pinned down. An adventure with roots in the point-and-click era, we can expect humour to go with our important quest - we'll see whether it's a magical experience in a review. Available from 7th June.

Wii U Virtual Console

Pokémon Ranger: Shadows of Almia (Nintendo, €6.99 / £6.29) - Sales figures suggest that many who enjoy the main series 'mon games don't jump into the various spin-offs. Pokémon Ranger likely falls into this category, though the arrival of the DS series on Wii U does skip the first one to deliver this sequel, which we regarded as a '1.5' entry. You use the stylus to befriend and battle Pokémon, as the main hook, and we quite enjoyed it in our original review.

Pokémon Ranger: Guardian Signs (Nintendo, €6.99 / £6.29) - This is the third entry in the series, and throws a second quest and Legendary Pokemon into the Ranger formula. Like its predecessor, though, it'll more-than-likely lack the online content on the Wii U; nevertheless you can check out our original review for details.

Wii U eShop Temporary Discounts

FreezeME (RNC, €9.99 / £8.99 until 23rd June, normally €13.99 / £12.59)

Trine Enchanted Edition (Frozenbyte, €6.49 / £5.49 until 23rd June, normally €12.99 / £10.99)

Word Puzzles by POWGI (Lightwood Games, €6.99 / £6.29 until 16th June, normally €8.99 / £7.99)

Life of Pixel (Super Icon, €4.99 / £4.49 until 7th July, normally €9.99 / £8.99)

Job the Leprechaun (Herrero, €1.99 / £1.99 until 7th July, normally €2.99 / £2.69)

The Rivers of Alice: Extended Version (Delirium Studios, €5.99 / £5.39 until 16th June, normally €7.99 / £7.19)

3DS eShop

Puzzle Labyrinth (CIRCLE Entertainment, €5.00 / £4.29) - A potential nice fit for the 3DS eShop, as this sets you the task of solving puzzles in order to work your way through a maze, combat monsters and so on. 60 stages are promised, so we'll solve the conundrum of whether it's worth a purchase in our review.

3DS Retail Download

Kirby: Planet Robobot (Nintendo, €39.99 / £34.99) - HAL Laboratory returns with another cheerful and colourful platformer, though the mechanised theme here sets it up nicely for some smart level design and enjoyable twists. Beyond an excellent campaign there are multiple unlockables to dip into, and we gave this an enthusiastic recommendation in our Kirby: Planet Robotot review. Available from 10th June, eShop or official website purchases before 7th July include the "Kirby: Planet Robobot: Robobot Armour" 3DS HOME Theme.

New Nintendo 3DS Virtual Console

Kirby's Dream Course (Nintendo, €7.99 / £7.19 ) — It's golf, Kirby style, with the pink one being a ball that can take out enemies and absorb abilities en-route to the cup. The crazy golf approach is also fun with a friend in multiplayer, assuming the pass-and-play option is included here. We'll hit up the course again, but until then you can check out our Wii U Virtual Console Kirby's Dream Course review.

3DS DLC

Fire Emblem Fates: Revelation (Nintendo, €19.99 / £17.99) - Essentially the third full campaign for the game, in which you choose to side with neither Hoshida or Nohr in their conflict. It's recommended this is played after both Birthright and Conquest, as it offers fresh perspectives on various storylines and characters. We praised this a great deal in our Fire Emblem Fates: Revelation DLC review.

Fire Emblem Fates: Map 6 - Royal Royale (Nintendo, €2.49 / £2.29 or part of Map Pack 1) - Never mind the war between Hoshido and Nohr: who will win the battle to determine the single strongest sovereign?

YOU HAVE GOT TO BE FUCKING SHITTING ME :omg:

When you created tihs thread I actually had to go and check for myself that you hadn't just made up the first two entries. This, however, makes up for everything. EVERTHING.

Wishful thinking perhaps but I assumed that games that were playable on the Wii with a classic pad would be playable on the gamepad. I'm sure I read that Xenoblade works on the gamepad.

Oh they are, I believe. Unfortunately Metroid Prime Trilogy doesn't have classic controller support on Wii.

Also, holy fucking shit at HTC's auto-correct changing Metroid Prime Trilogy to Negroid Prime Trilogy.

Please reassure me that is the proper 60Hz version.

From the list of games on sale, these ones are 50Hz:

Donkey Kong 64

Kirby’s Adventure

Super Metroid

The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past

The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time

Everything else is 60Hz.
