Thread bump - ITV4 is showing season 3 of US Battlebots from 2018, which isn’t on UK netflix.

 

It’s a bit glitzy but the actual fights and robot variety remain top notch

i love a bit of battlebots but that show cannot be watched live, there is only 12 minutes of content you want to see and the rest is American hosts showing the world why they are so annoying

TBF, I went through the UK stuff that was available recently, and it's not much better. I just skip all the guff and watch the what, 5/6 3 minute fights? Unless I'm particularly interested in the repairs.

the first few eps are on demand and it's showing daily on ITV4 at the moment at 7pm.

 

first ep was great, the actual battles are just so much more visceral than the UK version, which had a charm but is a bit blokes in sheds gluing old lawnmowers together compared the US WMD approach to things - flamethrowers, robots on fire and a huge one that looked like a civil war cannon all featured in ep1, it was really good.

Yeah my kids have started watching this, the robots are brutal!
