Had a quick go on Dariusburst earlier. I love how it's so shiny and modern, but still unashamedly arcadey. Plugging in a USB 360 controller helped a ton - the next step will be sending the signal to my TV

How would we check our gift messages? As far as I can tell, the existence of the gifts has been wiped from existance, the only record I can find is what I sent.

Managed to get 10 minutes on endless legend. Seems to be fairly understandable so far and not massively overwhelming like some games in the genre. I'm sure things get deeper bit at least the early part of the tutorial hasn't had me lost yet.

Our car has broken down at the in-laws so the Mac has proven invaluable. Got all the way through the tutorial of endless legend now.

Oh wow. I just got home and realised JPR has sent me yet another code. This time for Civ V which I asked for late into the thread. Thank you Secret Santa!!

I don't even have the time to play my current games let alone this huge haul. I'll try and spare an hour or two tonight to dabble with each of them though.

Edit: Aw man, Total Annihilation comes with the Core Contingency and Battle Tactics expansions. It also runs at modern day resolutions. I need to see if it also comes with the additional units that were released for free on their website back in the day. What a set though. If anyone even remotely likes RTS games then you owe it to yourself to try this one out as it's one of the best ever, in my opinion. Especially at this price.

I'd be interested in what you think of that, Rikku, because I've been thinking about getting it but read a lot of conflicting opinions that don't really give any reasons as to why (either good or bad).
