It's interesting - but mostly it seems to be about helping people to "complete" a Pokedex,  rather than massive trading going on

 

For instance it looks like it'll cost between 40k and 1million stardust to trade a legendary (depending on friend level) and the IV can only go down :D

 

The gifts/eggs thing seem nicer...hopefully our group get into it on raids. They're pushing the social side a lot...although people with multiple phones get another boost :(

I agree about the multi accounters getting a boost, especially for raids. Not sure yet how big the boost will be though.

Don't really see how I benefit that much. IV change in trading makes it impossible to trade the best to 1 account (and makes trading seem a bit pointless), star dust amount makes it very difficult anyway.

Perhaps I'm in the minority as I play both accounts separately with no benefit other that enabling more raids with less people (I don't attack gyms my other account is in. If I do attack a gym its to take it down for that account - they are in different teams so I don't take 1/3rd of a gym up)

 

Overall, I've never been for trading, I don't see what it'll add to the game.

I have 2 accounts too. The main benefit will be the increased damage in raids, meaning that fewer people are needed to do a raid. So, for example, 2 players with 2 accounts each, both fully best friended, may be able to take down a legendary raid, but 6 individuals, with no friend bonus, may not be able to.

Yep, that's a good point, I'm sure the balance will be favorable, I  mean if it results in 3 players taking down a raid in 60 seconds instead of 65, it'll be pretty pointless. I'm in a relatively small raid group so will welcome that change personally.

 

As someone who doesn't do many legendary raids, I'm hoping "can you help me with the next raid, I'll gift you a pass" becomes a thing :) I always have a spare pass for another raid if I have the time

Just being able to give people some revives would be great.

They'll drop it down over time. Same thing happened in Ingress, introduce the new features to the higher levels to test what they've got set up and then lower the cap a few times to the actual level they want to give it to.

Aye, they've already said it'll drop. I'm only level 36 but would prefer if they kept it locked until level 40. Gives more of a reason to push on. 

 

But I'm against the idea of trading anyway to be honest.

200k exp away from 36, it's been a mighty grind so far, sometimes I hate living in the countryside, I'm without a car for the entire week, so Monday to Friday I get 4 stops and a gym on the walk to work, a few spins on the post office run in the afternoon and then the same 4 and a gym on the way home.

 

Some old cunt with more money than sense has started playing in the last month or so, he drinks in my local and quite happily throws money at the thing, he's maxed out his carrying abbility for bag and captures, spends shit loads on sodding rasps and then when you go to take down the one and only gym in our village, he will wait till you've almost beaten his 'mon and then fully heal with Golden Raspberries, it's utterly infuriating as I refuse to put money in and need my 50 coins a day from sitting in the gym, and in his own words as to why he wants to sit in it and not also go for the 50 coins per day thing.. " well, it's the prestige of it inn'it, don't want no one else in there, I wanna be on top", fucking twunt!

 

Sorry, that turned into bit of a rant :p

After 15 months of play I'm level 29. It's conceivable I'll never hit 40.
