I love a Community Day and want a shiny Charizard. 

 

The group around here are mostly decent. A few have multiple accounts which is fine but there is a strict "No spoofers" rule in place, if you spoof you're pretty much kicked out of the group and excluded from raids etc:

Recent example. 

 

 

I'm at around 850,000 Stardust so should (hopefully) break a million tomorrow with the 3x catch dust + starpiece multiplier.

I got banned off the edinburgh discord for spoofing when I hadn't been. Suspiciously the person who decided I was spoofing was the same kid I was kicking out of my closest 2 gyms most nights :lol:  I just rejoined with a different name. I'll follow him home from a raid one day and break his fingers so he can't play anymore.

The example @Azrael posted above seems kinda petty to me, but then I'm not that bothered about spoofers - play the game the way you want to play it.

Don't get me wrong, I think spoofing is stupid and pointless, one of the main draws for me is the hybrid of video gaming, and being outside, and the discovery / feeling of catching something nice.  Sitting in the house shifting your GPS takes away too much of that for me, BUT the game allows you to set up private raid groups which prevents those not there from joining anyway, so why not just do it that way?

 

I've never actually asked to join the Dundee discord group, perhaps they would add me, I've never done anything to offend any of them.  In fact, I've helped them to split into teams for extra balls, and in some cases, even do a raid that wouldn't have been possible without my extra account, so they were happy to benefit in the past...  

 

2nd account is starting to feel like too much effort now, but I want to tick off a duo tyranitar ;)

 

Stardust should work with triple stardust, the other bonus items have always worked during other multiplier events.

I just need to remember to put it, and incense on this time! :S

Well, private groups might not be quite the right way to implement it but they also let multiple groups raid in parallel. And if you want it guess a private group code it's very easy given that codes are sequentially assigned.

Between 10am to 1pm? Where were you?

 

 

Caught 5 shiny Charmanders, my best haul during a Community Day. 4 were awful IV but one was 82 so evolved that to Charizard, only have 900cp so will need powering up. 

 

Didn't reach my target of 1 million Stardust, got up to 960k. Would have done it if I didn't keep forgetting to use the starpieces or spend around 45 minutes waiting and doing Ho-oh raids. Then failing to catch most of those stupid big turkeys.

When do they announce the next community day? Because if it's Larvitar I'm booking the day off work. 

 

 

Did OK today, only got an hour and a half outside of work but 2 shinies one after the other (both terrible - one has 0 attack) and managed to evolve a couple of decent ones for Blast Burn.

I only saw about 30 but played for the full three hours. Saw others reporting over 300 catches and 10 shiny ones. Sigh.

 

i did get my first shiny though, and evolved it into charizard so it has blast burn or whatever. Only 69% IV though.

 

i did have enough candy for a second charizard but couldn’t find an amazing/wow charmander in the few I did manage to catch. Ah well.

I was only out for about 45 mins but managed to get a couple of shinys and one of them was level 34 and 82% IV so evolved it. Also evolved 2 more charizards with blast burn. One of which I will probably max out.

I think they will do Larvitar, and probably Blissey too, but Id rather they didn't.

A ton more Blissey for gyms would be annoying, and Tyranitar has been around in raids since forever. I don't raid all that much (138 legendary and 57 regular) and have a dozen Tyranitar, my best being a 98 I caught on the 7th of this month. I'd love the extra candy to level mine up, but I think they should leave something for a challenge, and ttar is a good balance with infrequent spawns and that should I shouldn't I pinap balance when you do a raid,plus of course weather boost now too.

 

I hope they keep going through the starters from other gens, they still feel a bit more special whilst now necessarily being that useful.

 

Magicarp would be good, or all of the 400s in one event.

w00ps, banned again. Either the kid in question is a rllmuk user who fears for his fingers or he recognised my username when I posted a pic after hitting lvl 40 :lol:

 

Community day was fairly successful, got a few shineys and a couple of decent Charizards with blast burn. Also did a couple of raids to move the kids' Mew research quests along.
