Are there shiny variants of every Pokemon nowadays? I feel like everyone has one except me. Gyms always seem to have at least one shiny in - more often than not a green dragonite or red gyrados.

 

I want one. :(

Are the bulbasaur and pikachu ones a pisstake? I’d never notice the difference in game.

Yeah, I don't think I'd want trading. Just give us ways to catch regionals through events/tasks/raids/eggs would be my preference.

 

The only trading I'd like is perhaps item trading as would be useful when people are needing revives etc during raids. 

 

Actually perhaps being allowed to trade Pokemon but only if you've already caught one before. So for example I caught plenty of Lugia  but never a shiny one so I could trade something with someone for a Shiny Lugia. But I can't trade someone for a Heracross or Entei for instance as I've never caught one of them previously.

My next Ex Raid is at 4.30 today, well 5 by the time I and the others get there, leaving 15 minutes for potential issues..

 

Didn't really play over the weekend, but am generally still enjoying commute walk playing, and have been pushing for gold in another couple of local gyms - got one over the weekend too, so up to 7 total gold gyms I think.

 

Hoping for a MewTwo that's 90%+ this time if I catch it that is..

Yeah, I think trading would introduce a crappy tiered card currency, if playing other TCGs is anything to go by. But, if you've already caught one and someone else happens to have a spare better one? That seems reasonable. Also, I have revives up the wazoo, but my wife has to buy them because, for some reason, stops just never give them to her. It almost feels like a bug.

I gave up on that and deleted the quest, if I get it again I'll do it on a raid boss, should be easier.

 

It would be nice if they'd tweak the quests to take account of events, it's not easy to catch 3 bugs or whatever when everything is Fighting type.

I've had 2 out of 3 for "Catch 3 Swablu" for about a week now!

This morning was crazy.  Weather was cloudy, so boosts to fighting..

I caught:

5 Medetite

12 Makuhita

5 Machop

6 Mankey

5 Mr. Mime

 

They should have called it the 'M' event.

Yes, Zapdos from yesterday (well, 1pm PDT, which is 8pm or something?)  She should have waited a few hours!

There was a news pop up 7 days back.

 

I have 4 already, but the best is 87% IV so hoping to bag a better one.  

2nd account was started during the last couple of days of Ho-oh, so glad of the opportunity to get one on that.

I do think that keeping things rotating heavily is the way Niantic need to go in this game. Although... What, 400-odd Pokemon sounds like a lot, when you're playing an hour a day whilst just going about your business there's a lot of repetition. As much as I loved the double stardust from the last event, it was essentially the same 8/9 mons over and over again - if I'm out for an hour in a heavily populated area, I'll catch something like 100. On the meta end, though, that gives me enough time to farm a REALLY good iv of each of them, even if if I don't need one, which is nice for my completionist tendencies, and then move on to the next one. So this time I've already caught a 93% Makuhita when I didn't have a very good one before, I don't really NEED a good Hariyama but it'll be nice to have as a backup. Plus, double exp on raids and gyms which gets me doing something slightly different from just walking around the park.
