Well yeah I get that. But sending a fire type against a Vaporeon isn't the best plan is in. Any water attacks against it are gonna be super effective, surely.

Is there anything I can do to get more potions? I have a hundred of each type of ball, a few revives, and a few berries. All I ever get from stops is balls and berries, even on the 7 day streak. I get on average one potion from every ten stops I visit. It's annoying because it means I can't fight at gyms.

Because there are no gyms near me I find l'm always chucking away things like potions and revives (keep 100 each of revives and max potions, and bin everything else) whilst always running short on Pokeballs!

Edit - Charmander and then and Cyndaqil by spawn spot near house. That'll do.

Nope, you're right. Unless you're buying 5200 or above, it's cheaper to buy bundles of 100 instead. The price was reduced from 99p to 79p a month or so ago (there were similar reductions in other countries), but there was no corresponding price decrease for the other items.

Getting 400-500xp a catch is need (NEED MORE STARDUST)

 

Getting 3k for a new catch was very nice as well.

 

Just need more Pinap Berries to help with Candies for these limited time spawns...

 

Also is it me or are they all "high CP" so harder to catch (and suck up my balls)

Quick 45 min walk with the dog and I caught:

 

5 Cyndaquil 

2 Charmander 

3 Growlithe 

1 Houndor 

1 Vulpix 

 

Also saw 3 other Vulpix, 4 Ponyta, 1 Jynx, 1 Seel and a bunch of Shelder and Swinub but didn't need/want to waste balls on.

 

5000xp for a 10k egg hatch - bastard Gligar. 

 

@Hexx  aye the wee bastards appear to be breaking out of the ball more than usual, wasted so much precious Pinap Berries. <_<

I'm out of Pinap - and won't be able to have a good walk around town/pokestop central until Sunday.

 

I genuinely might buy some balls the way this is going.

 

Haven't seen many Ice (Shelldar? But he's often about here) but fire is bonkers.

I've basically chewed through my entire supply of ultra balls with these fire mons. Combination of little to no fire catch bonus and they're all high cp, too. Day to day, I'm just throwing red balls at dust fodder, normally.

 

How often do events have double xp for everything? I'm wondering how long to hold onto my million pigeys and other assorted tat for 4x evolution xp, or if I should just pop an egg now and be done with it. I've got some maxed mons that I really need to increase for holding gyms and could do with a level or two.

I think the double XP has only been once before, the October event last year, I am smashing through everything to try getting to lvl 33 before time runs out, only 120k XP to go :P

Be careful. Not sure evolutions are in the double XP. Think it's just catchin', hatchin' and erm... spinning.

Ice wise I've had Seels, Shelders and tons of Swinub. I don't think there are many ice types, are there?
