Just back from 2 weeks of visiting multiple US and Canadian locations (a mixture of big cities and countryside). My only real Poke-goal was to get a Tauros. I assumed they would appear all over the place like Mr Bastard Mime but I saw none.

 

Caught a shed load of Magikarp though but no shinies. Sitting on close to 700 candy. I know if I evolve another Gyarados, I'll immediately catch a shiny Magikarp so trying to hold off.

Mine too when I went to Florida. Turns out the cut-off point is 30 minutes above where I stayed :lol:

Gligar gets an evolution in Gen 4 so will be a while until that shows up in Go.

That's either bullshit or they put in some serious coin. I'm ok with the latter, because people like that mean I can play F2P games for nowt.

I've become cynical enough to believe that they were spoofing.

Also got another Sunstone so can get that Sunflower guy, only I've transferred all the Sunkerns I had so can't do that.

I can beat that - a couple of months ago I was on my usual lunch time walk and the spot where there's usually a load of old wank had this time spawned a Lapras. It's nowhere near a Pokestop and didn't appear on the nearby tracker so naturally I freak out and start lobbing Ultra Balls like there's no tomorrow - it only took two which surprised me. It wasn't will after I caught it I realised why;

Worth it for the candy to me, my poor Lapras has been wallowing right down in the early 1,000+ CP range for an etirnity, would love to see another in the wild, the two I've had came from egg hatches, the one I saw in the wild was bit of a walk away and I was on a date, don't think the evening would have gone as well as it did if I'd have wanted to nip over and caught a Lapras half way through :P

Aaargh, if only! I'll trade with you!

 

We went to Shrewsbury yesterday on a Dratini hunt. Managed to get three - there was another which didn't appear. Then in Telford this afternoon I was just thinking, "I've never seen a Dratini here" when I looked down and...Dratini. And at the train station, Dragonair! 1297CP which is way more than the other two I've evolved, and good enough IVs to keep.
