I've got n almost 3k CP Vaporion, and a just over 3k Snorlax, both of those are ideal for smashing up Blissey, although it is pretty tight on the time limit, usually coming down to the last 10 seconds against our local Blissey that is between 2700 and 2800 something or odd ( strike that, that twat has managed to power up his Blissey, it's sitting there now at 3045, will have a go at kicking it out later).

For fighting an enemy blissey you want Dragonite, Alakasam, Ursaring, Flareon, Exeggutor (with solar beam).

For prestiging your own team blissey you need Machokes Ursaring, Exeggutor (w solar beam), Flareon.

I have an Exeggcutor with Solar Beam but still ran out of time. Rhydon takes them down fastest, but still not fast enough. Flareon and Ursaring even more useless, but they're both much lower level.

Playing a different game to the rest of us again I see. The moves are very important obviously but a confusion/SB Exeggutor will beat a Blissey at about a 2/3 CP ratio. So a 1600cp Exe will top a 2400cp blissey, an 1800 beat a 2700 blissey etc. For ursaring you want counter/close combat or hyper beam at the same kind of CP ratio.

Gyms are all red around here, I suspect people see it and just join red for easy coins. Was out and about yesterday and one such gym was flipped to blue, and someone put a 100 CP Weedle in it. I like to think it was named ":P" behind the scenes.

Actually, our red strongholds at the park are solidly yellow now, I've not seen that before since starting playing 52/50k on one, 64/50k on the other. I'm not even sure how that's possible. Also, someone left a piss take 12 cp Gastly.

 

School is almost out here, I reckon people are driving around in groups.

The game's signed me out and won't let me sign back in. Using "forgotten my username" gets "we don't have an account registered to this email address". Anyone else having problems? :s Most worrying

The 12 CP gastly isn't a piss take, it is used by bot accounts to train a gym quickly to level 10.

Phew, finally got back in!

I fired this up for the first time since the new updates (and Pokemon) a couple of weeks ago. 

 

I'm disabled and walk literally nowhere, so I'm a tad restricted on egg hatching etc. Basically I make sure I have the game open from my door to my car, then my car into the school playground to drop my son off each morning lol. Add in a bit of slow driving and, well, you get the idea. It's feckin' slow. 

 

Currently on zero balls as I need to do a few laps of my town centre and I can't afford the fuel end of the month. I might buy some this afternoon cos some cool stuff appears around the house now and then. Swiped myself a not awful Aerodactyl last week and collected a fair few Omanytes. 

 

Fucking gutted my Sakura evolution gave me the worst moves, cow. Although interesting to see Eevee come from 5k eggs now instead of 10k.

Snorlax got booted out of the library but it's still red and has two Blissey's and a Rhydon in there. Tempted to use all my stardust to power up my Rhydon to put in there so it's not bottom of the pile and might get me some coins. Be arsed walking five minutes to the library though. 

 

EDIT: Aaaaand it's gone blue with a damn shiny Gyrados.

Not too dissimilar to what I've amassed by playing every day dove launch but living in the sticks (with the nearest Pokestop a 25 minute round-trip walk away, so I rarely bothered until they started handing out the evolution items for 7 day streaks). I mainly just used to amass Pokeballs when I went into town every other Saturday, and see what I could catch from home in between!

I'm getting closer to filling a spot with a Gyarados, but I'm wondering if I need to be waiting for a new Gary to evolve. He's a "defense wonder" egg hatch, but I obviously caught him a while ago. 

 

Is there an online calculator that'll give me an idea of the CP he'll have once evolved? I'd like one over 2000 ideally (I'm level 26.)

Blew an egg and evolved loads of new stuff to get 100k xp and to level 26.

 

Looking at bars so few are going to get over 2k CP atm - all 'wonders' too...

I'm currently on holiday in Florida and holy shit this place is awesome for Pokémon.

 

I've been able to catch Totodile, shit loads of Dratini, Houndour, Mareep, Heracross and Corsola.

 

Coming home to the usual rubbish is going to suck

Funnily enough he always giggles at Puff Daddy, but over the obvious connection, rather than the worldwide 90s and millennium rap music star that is dear old Diddy. Which in turn always makes me giggle

I did once spend ages coming up with all sorts of pun names, but the only one which fit in the character limit was Ekans Ekoku (after a former Norwich player called Efan Ekoku). Though I prefer to have the species name up for when I need to check if I already have one when I spot it in the wild. I've played the main Pokemon games so much it's hard to tell!

Something odd going on at one of the local gyms here. 4 red team members in it who I've never seen here before. 3 appear to be the same person as they appear to have the same username with different numbers after it and all around the same level (27, 28 and 31). Spoofer? Or some guy playing on 3 accounts at once? Strange but as they're red team and have kicked my nemesis out of the gym I'm OK with this.

I was in 3 gyms today, briefly. My usual at work, a few hours at the mall and the red bastion at the park fell, and I got a cheeky walk by add. Then the mall fell a few minutes later. Can't see me having the park when collection time rolls around, either.
