multiclunk 2:34.087

then 2:31.251

then 2:29.850

then 2:28.515

then 2:28.215

multiclunk 2:27.247

I'm sure I can do better, but don't think I'll ever get anywhere near what the top three are posting.

That was not easy

Meatball - 2:17.070

Had to join in using manual clutch and flat-shifting to get that one. Not sure how much more I can squeeze out of the mean pink machine, but if I need to I'll certainly give it a try.

I had to ditch manual clutch for this, it was just totally fucking up my steering. Does manual clutch give you an advantage if you can master it?

it certainly makes you faster, i think it eliminates the drop of power when shifting as you can keep it floored whilst up shifting. you can swap the handbrake/clutch buttons so clutch is set to A and then just press A + b or x together with your thumb when shifting, definitely worth doing if you use manual anyway. that being said i wouldn't be against it if boozy chooses to rule it out in future events

at that stage of this now where it really takes a near perfect run to get a top time. think my tyres are well and truly blistered!

saying that :eyebrows:

SnoopZakaDaVe - 2:15.536

no idea where i keep finding the extra time  i lost a lot on my last time on the left hander coming out the tunnel though, keeping it smooth and carrying speed on this course seems to be key. theres probably a little more time to be had on a perfect run, though i can't think of much i did TOO wrong. no doubt meatball will find it before the times out!

edit:

clip if anyones interested - run starts at about 20 seconds

Leaderboard updated.

Re: Clutch usage .

It's always given a significant time advantage but it doesn't take away from the skill required to post the times we've been seeing so I'll consider it fair game. It's up to the individual whether they wish to learn it or not. Personally I'm happy with manual gears and am not willing to learn it.

And breathe...wooo that was intense!

Meatball - 2:15.235

That Porsche was really shifting some there. Think I could get down into the 14's if I strung together all my best bits. But please don't make me try, that took quite a while and a good few attempts to get this time.

Great to keep track of your competition in this thread :) Would love to join but still no Bone here (maybe for Forza 6 and Rare Replay).

Could you post some more videos as well? Would love to see displays of driver skill such as Meatball's, SnoopZaKa's and others!

Aye. This one was cool, but in the two and a bit minutes you only needed to brake four or five times and a couple of them were just little dabs to knock off a touch of speed. Something a bit more tight and twisty to mix it up maybe?
